I looked at your account details and I can see you have several trees on your family site.
One of them is a really amazing tree with over 20,000 individuals.
I also notice that the first tree to appear when you visit your family site is a tree with 3 people in it. Not the large tree.
Is it possible that you were expecting to see the 20,000 individual tree when you enter your family site? I fixed that for you now, but if you need to fix it again in the future, you can do it on the Family Tree > Manage Trees page on your family site.
Just click "Set to default tree" to make the tree of your choosing the first tree to appear when you go to the family tree tab on your site.
Also, if you need to get a copy of your tree you can do that on the Manage Trees page. Use "Download to Family Tree Builder" if you use the software to build your tree and use "Export GEDCOM" if you work on your tree online.
I am not talking about my online tree yet your tech support does not seem to take any resposibility whatsoever for problems caused by its software. I lost every single name in my offline tree after simply hitting the button that says it needs to fix some incosistancies. Names are not incosistancies. This was less than a week after I had to destroy a tree I was working on and download the latest software from you because once again youer tech support seems uninterested in taking any responsibility for the major glitches in its software. So what is going on unless the screwups are online where other people can see them you are just not interested? I have tried to be patient and somewhat professional about this but your condescenfding answers and indiference to your products usability after I paid for premium service makes me concider calling the better buisiness bureau. I will not download the online tree again unless there is some assurance that the software will not wipe out more random data followed by weeks of no help from your company.
I apologize if my message seemed condescending. It is common for people to mistakenly think that the data has become corrupted when, in fact, the tree that appears first is not the tree they were expecting to see.
Here is a version of Family Tree Builder where the problem with inconsistencies does not occur. You can download this over the version you are currently running and work on your tree with no problem: http://www.myheritage.com/FP/FamilyTreeBuilder/family_tree_builder_5314_cd.exe
You can restore the tree by opening Family Tree Builder, clicking on File > Restore Backup and selecting to restore the backup from your family site.
This inconsistencies problem is a very serious one and we are working as hard as we can to take care of it.
I apologize sincerely that your experience here at MyHeritage has been such a harrowing one. I've created free backup service on your family site in compensation for the trouble you've had. Backup service automatically creates a secure, password protected backup of your family tree that is separate from the copy in Family Tree Builder. That way, you've always got a copy of the tree in case something happens. Backups are created once every thirty days and you get an email when the backup is ready.

It iwas really the less inteligent thing to do. You had the goodwill of restauring a reference tree. But, not taking in account that I had published today a mos recent one, includind all the research about my wife's familiy, eliminated all te other trees, includind the one publisehd today, in order of maintaining your choice as The reference.

Problemet du beskriver kan åtgärdas på följande sätt.
Öppna ditt projekt i Family Tree Builder.
Sök efter namnet på den person som visas som "okänd" på din släktwebbplats.
Klicka på Redigera> Redigera detaljer [namn].
Klicka på fliken "Mera".
Längst ner på skärmen finns en ruta som heter "denna person är privat (publicera inte till släktwebbplatsen)".
Avmarkera den rutan och publicera ditt släktträd till din släktwebbplats.
Display och programspråket i Family Tree Builder
I Family Tree Builder, är det möjligt att välja ett visningsspråk och ett programspråk.
Visningsspråket motsvarar alla knappar och namn i programmet. Visningsspråket förändrar endast Family Tree Builders gränssnitt och kommer inte att påverka informationen som du har i trädet.
Programspråket överensstämmer med de uppgifter du anger i själva trädet. Namn, platser, anteckningar o.s.v.
Problem kan uppstå när data tas upp i ett språk och displayspråket är ett annat. Till exempel, ett träd har italienska som visningsspråk men tagit upp information på spanska.
Orsaken till problemet är att när visningsspråket är inställt på italienska, och försöker att läsa alla uppgifter i italiensk teckenkodning. Om spanska tecken ingår kommer Family Tree Builder inte veta hur informationen ska läsas av eftersom programmet försöker läsa in informationen enligt egenskap av italienska tecken.
När detta problem uppstår, visar Family Tree Builder namn som okänd. Det kan finnas data i trädet, men det går inte att läsa av namnet och därför visas statusen okänd.
Vänligen öppna ditt projekt i Family Tree Builder för att åtgärda detta. Och se till att du har de lämpliga språken väljs och översätts. Det gör du på följande sätt:
1. Välj språk. Gå till verktyg> I språkmenyn kan du välja visningsspråk primärt och/eller ett sekundärt språk. Det rekommenderas att visnings- och primärspråket är desamma.
2. Översätt data. Översättningsguiden är ett snabbt och effektivt sätt att översätta data till ett sekundärt språk. Gå till Verktyg> Översättningsguide för att enkelt översätta namn och orter i ditt träd. Publicera en ny version av ditt träd till din släktplats för att uppdatera alla ändringar.
Tack för informativt svar. Fick det att funka genom att ta bort alla å, ä, ö vid översättning till engelska. Sker således publiceringen på engelska per definition; går det inte att publicera på svenska heller på myheritage.se sidan?
Trädet publiceras på det språk som mest information finns tillgängligt på. Om det finns ungefär lika mycket information på två olika språk kommer två versioner av trädet att publiceras.
How do I go about downgrading my plan back to the free version, while getting a refund on the 3 day old plan than I paid for.
I would like to do this because I find that I cannot actually find my family on here, using the historical records search. So the paid service is very much wasted. I'm able to find my family using free, third party, websites such as FreeBMD, but not on here with MyHeritage search services.
I am willing to remain registered as a free user, as I am able to document my family history and build a tree on here (which is part of the free membership plan), but I am not willing to pay for something that consistently fails in finding published records that should come up in the MyHeritage historical records search result.
I would like to cancel my annual membership and receive a refund, I purchased it 11-13-2012, I want to continue with the free version. I have trouble locating my family or my site. can you help me?
Do you know the possibility of getting a refund from this comapany that has its headquraters in Israel. I dont think much of you chances, or mine for that matter becuse I think a refund on my subscription would be great , as the service is not waht I thought. But then I am not an American and THEY have the biggest (shock I know) group od users.
But if more people requested refunds, like you did, then PERHAPS management might see that they are NOT delivering.
In my country (Australia) we have consumer protection laws, and I would get a ferung in seconds if the company were in Australia andn not providing the service.

I am getting the impression that I am definitely not alone with my gripe about the complete lack of response, much less help, from this so-called tech support team. It appears that they are aware of the multitude of problems being reported and realize there are "bugs" in the system, but they have no idea how to repair those problems so they just remain quiet. Anyone disagree?
I am having a lot of trouble in that department lately--especially in response to the inquiry I made about the following--they would not post this on their blog and I tried posting here and it would not appear, so will try again--very sad when a company like this acts in such a juvenile manner!

World Vital Records Subscribers promised free Data Subscription--that is not happening--I cannot view the records unless I pay AGAIN and I have a sub for WVR until Nov 2013.
So, how do we get this free access as current WVR subscribers?

We take into account every comment that we receive, and our developers are capable of fixing these bugs, however as we have so many improvements, as well as new features that we are working on, we do prioritize.

I paid a subscription only to find that I cannot access records in Scotland, maybe I am doing something wrong but if I can't access records of my Scottish ancestors then I have wasted money and would like a refund.
