I thought I'd give it a trial. Oh but there was no trial so I signed upto 12mths. First mistake.
2 weeks later I realised I hated the layout, the smart match approach, the poor search engine, the lack of quality (different) source material and by comparison it was a very poor competitor to the main sites. No wonder there is no trial period.
So I cancelled my end of subsciption and sought refund. I then was called and literally talked into an extension to include a website subsciption. Second mistake.
2 weeks later I was still utterly unimpressed. I sought to cancel , delete account and seek refund for unused months.
Oh dear. After multiple mails wehere they insistated they speak I finally gave up and told them to call. Not only will they NOT delete my account but they will NOT refund in total or part anything. Apparently the coaxed into 'free' web subsciption took me beyond any right to cancel and have money back. Handy that.
You can tell this lot are driven by the american market. Scant regard to quaint local traditions in Britain such as customer rights ands distance selling regulations.
Quite frankly an appauling outfit that I am glad to be shot of. Even if they have effectively taken my money and given me nothing (which in Britain we call stealing).
Off to copy this message to as many forums I can find on web to spread the message of caution.
