/Birger

Hi Birger,
Thank you for writing to us.
Accounts at MyHeritage.com are created using a person’s email address as the unique log in for that account.
Two different accounts cannot share the same log in.
It is necessary to invite each member with a different email address.
We know that many couples share the same email address. We are sorry, but cannot make exceptions in this case
Searching the C.F.S. for specific Families that may link with your own is protracted and frustrating since the majority use just a basic 'Name-ID' eg. SMITH FAMILY TREE'! As I reorganise my own overloaded Tree to Principal-Lines only that I can cross-reference as and when needed, I gave their titles a specific Location or Reference which allowed them to stand out from the crowd of 'SMITHS' vis. 'SMITH of SKERRIES' Individual Trees do catch the eye and little hints of location clearly help recognition or possibility of, by association! Might we encourage others to adopt or consider this 'individuality' please in passing?
I think that if you don't renew it, it will automatically go to basic which is free. I am not sure if you have to tell them not to renew or not. I suspect that you do if they are like most paid sites like this that are paid by the month or year.
Yes, I still have Family Tree Builder and it's working well and is great! My problem is online. The site is washed out and faded with a link to renew subscription with no option to go back to basic. Thanks for your reply. ps I wish it would automaticly revert!
Have had my account for several years without really using it. When I now want to test it a bit more I am prompted to prolong it – but I can’t switch to Basic as I would like to.
So I need help with that. (Why am I not able to do this myself?)
I see that your tree is actually over the basic limit of 250 people. This means that with a basic site, you will not be able to update and grow your tree.
Would you be interested in me having a member of the telemarketing team contact you, to see what they can offer you?
yes. But what makes me wonder - in myheriatage it shows my, that (for me ?) basic is unlimited (German Unbegrenzt). Could be the reason, that my account cames from verwandt.de ?!
Would it be possible for MH to add a way to click to basic on the family page? I have been forced to resort to a Google search to find this Q n A on the topic at hand. There is very little help on the Family Page to do this.
As my family is rarely touching base with MyHeritage, I would like the acct to revert to basic. I have been adding some members names and listings to keep interest active, but with simple birthday notices on the middle premium acct. and with Facebook doing that for free, it is time to let the acct revert to simple and basic.
I wouldn't have checked this myself except I have a very strange persons name showing up as a relative and wish to find out how on Earth this very unusual named fellow is related to anyone I've ever known or ever will know.
Thanks for all you do and ask the web techs to add a basic button.
One question. If I upgrade to premium, build a big family tree (500 members), then I'd like to stop paying (it is already build and premium option is expensive) - will I be still able to access my whole tree or not?
