Sorry I can do that already...On the top of my tree I have a father and mother, I want to know how to add brothers and sisters to the person at the top of the tree..What you have said is to add to families under the top of the tree.
If you have a suggestion please reply as I have seven brothers and sisters to add to parents at top of tree.
I try to find my relatives using MyHeritage.com site, that collects data from many other resources. All I can find out about each of these resources is its name. It seems that some of the resources should be useful for me. For ex., ones that have names starting with "Odessa" because I was born in Odessa region, Ukraine. My search is still vain and possibly description of the resources will tell me what I can do to improve the result.
Would it be possible to have a site for reaserch which will take more than 250 names?
if I upload a tree to a newly created basic site with more than 250 people some are removed from the tree.
Ill try to explain.
My surname is Rout and I have found loads of variations and possible bad transcriptions from the free site (ie Rout can be read as Vout, Rought can be read as Vought)
So basically I have been searching through the freecen and freereg and compiling any person by that name that I can find, they dont always link together as they may not be the same Family. but I have included them for reference.
What is the best thing about smart matching?
Putting in a name and finding someone to match to!
What would attract people to my herritage.com?
being able to find out about their ancesters!
My parents are from Norfolk so I have concentrated there so at the moment I have compiled a tree of Roots of Norfolk and Vouts of Norfolk. it has taken about 4 days to put the information together for the individual trees A week ago when I did a search in the name search section I found about 10 vouts now ive uploaded the tree to my personal site there are now more for people to match to.
so what I am suggesting is a section of reference sites compiled from names that have possibly never been researched.
maybe there are others out there that may want to compile a site in the same way for others to reference to.
So to sum up.
A section of sites for people to reference to compiled from voluteers who may wish to contribute.
able to hold more than 250 people.
open to anyone that may visit myheritage.com.
maintained by the voluteer who produced the site (and maybe a free years site subcription on their own personal site for doing it)
more searchable names on my heritage to attract others to this fantastic site.
To Myheritage staff>>>>>
if you think this is a good idea I would be pleased to help create these sites

You can research your family history using the following methods:
1. Use our specialized genealogy search engine MyHeritage.com Research, found here:http://www.myheritage.com/research. It utilizes a unique approach: each search that you run there, will be applied on 1,500 different genealogy databases and websites (including MyHeritage.com) and you will receive consolidated results. Each search takes time but will save you months of manual searches.
2. Use the MyHeritage.com Smart Matches feature. This unique feature compares your family tree to the millions of other family trees on MyHeritage.com and discovers family trees that match (overlap) your tree. This is found in the Family Tree > Smart Matches page of your family site, or in the Family Tree Builder software. If you are using Family Tree Builder, be sure to publish your family tree first as this increases the quality and quantity of your Smart Matches.
3. Use the Smart Research feature in Family Tree Builder (Premium feature). It will research your entire family tree automatically in more than 100 of the world's best genealogy websites and databases.
4. Submit a question to other genealogists on our genealogy forums, here:http://www.myheritage.com/genealogy-forums
Good luck with your research!
