Hmmm, I suspected that was possibly the case.
Clicking on upgrade in Family Builder only gives me the option to pay a monthly fee whereas the message in Family Builder said it was a one off 'inexpensive' fee (which £95 odd a year isn't)
I have the same problem and got no answer from support yet. I downlouded in january and they says that I shall downloud the elder version again BUT I don´t want to do that if somethings more goes wrong.
Try this; Bring up the wife in tree view in Family Tree Builder. Right click on her 'card'. Click on 'Spouses. There should be two of them (going on the information you gave). One of them will have their 'card' to the left of the lady and will have the larger icon (whatever) in the spouses drop-down menu that you have displayed. Click on the other spouse's line. This will bring THEIR card into view in place of the one formerly displayed, and then the children of THAT spouse will be on display.
I wrote this assuming that the children not currently displayed were the BIOLOGICAL children of the lady, with a different partner who was also in your tree. And that you were concerned that you could not see all the children at the same time. But it is more complex if they were just her step-children at the time of that former partnership (the children of her former partner and another lady) and you still want to show the children in the new family. You would want to show them, probably, first, as children of their actual parents, then 'attach' them to the current 'parents'. And that is where I am usure of the exact procedure.
I have moved to a new pc, and I need to get the gedcom back to continue working on my site, but I cannot locate an option to download it from the site, and I can't seem to add files and such to the website itself.
I am very frustrated with FTB. I have used FTM for years and have not had any difficulty.
First: when I merged a .ged file into an existing tree, they did not merge. They exist as two separate trees even though they have one common ancestor. How do I get the one common ancestor connected so that the entries do not exist as two separate trees.
Two: I would like to start over with my tree in FTB and would like to delete all trees from my FTB. I will not publish unless I have the entries correct. How do you delete trees from FTB?
I have a premium account and think I have wasted my money when I made a decision to publish with MyHeritage. Sorry, but that is level of frustration I am experiencing with this product.
