Ich habe genau das gleiche Problem mit der falschen Startperson und kann es ebenfalls nicht umstellen. Das funktioniert nur bei dem direkt aus verwandt.de übertragenen Stammbaum. Bei dem Stammbaum aus FTB, egal ob veröffentlicht oder als GEDCOM Datei exportiert, erscheint immer nur eine weit entfernte Verwandte.
ja habe ich. Ich hab natürlich die bisherigen Beiträge hier schon durchgelesen. Allerdings ändert sich die Startperson des Onlinestammbaums bei mir GAR NICHT. Selbst wenn die die Startperson in den Einstellungen für die Startseite ändere und dann direkt den Stammbaum aufrufe, wird immer noch "Eberhart Pfrenger" angezeigt. Ich möchte aber mich als erstes angezeigt bekommen. Zur Zeit bin ich unter "Sonstiges" eingestellt. Hat aber keine Wirkung, zumindest wenn ich mich einlogge denn:

Der Grund für die Anzeige ist klar: Eberhart Pfrenger hat beim Import einer Gedcom-Datei in das Programm Family Tree Builder die ID 1 bekommen, daher wird er vermutlich zuerst angezeigt. Klar ist mir aber nicht, warum online das nicht überschrieben werden kann.
ich habe das selbe Problem. Ich habe eine Gedcomdatei heruntergeladen und merkwürdigerweise wird im FBT nun meine Schwester und deren Mann als Startperson angezeigt. Wie bekomme ich das geändert.
My question is the reverse, I want to put a tree on the web that members can make changes to. I exported a gedcom file from FTB, but when I try to import it my web site I keep getting a messge stating an error occurred and to try again later. What's going on? I have attached the gedcom for you to look at
I have sent you the GEDCOM file twice now & have yet to hear anything. I am still unable to load the GEDCOM to my web site. Please respond with something, still working on it , here is the fix, something so I know it isn't being ignored.

Also now my delima is smart matching I have 3 questions - hoping you can help :)
I would like to work soley online because I have a mac and ftb is not compatible, but I read that I need to use FTB to merge smart matching.... so I got on my old PC and exported my online tree and imported it to FTB...
1.Is there a way to merge smart matches online?
2. or do I have to constantly go back and forth export/importing from the online tree to FTB in order to have my ftb be up to date with the changes I make online? Is there a way to synch this process?
3. I exported my most recent family tree gedcom to FTB and published it- but on FTB it is not saying there are any smart matches --however, when I was signed on it said I have a couple thousand..... do you know how to fix this?
I have recently went through the steps to download a GENCOM file of my online myheritage information to use in the family builder. The website generated a email link and sent it to my inbox for export. I click on the file to open it and my computer says my internet explorer blocked it. I click on the option to download the file and all that pops up is a Google copyright and no information to download.
Is there anything I can do to correct this to DL the file?
I am one of the victims from verwandt. de switching to myheritage. My tree is online in myheritage.com but not in the family tree builder. How can I load it from the website in the builder ??? And second question: I understand that my doings in the family tree builder will upoaded to myheritage, BUT what happens with the doings of me and my 76 family users in myheritage, will the changes be uploaded to the family tree builder ????
Thanks for the answer, I also needed to replace my primary photo. However that process is not very intuitive. It would be much better if you could replace/change your photo with something that is already uploaded. Take a look at how easy Facebook makes it.
