A question: will it be possible that several people can use FTB to maintain one single on line familiy tree?
So when I do some changes in FTB they will synchronised with the on line tree, and when my sister is doing some changes on her computer also with FTB, that those changes are also synchronised in both directions. So at the and the on line family tree and both my and my sisters FTB have all our changes?
Could we please get an update on this one ? You guys estimated the feature would be available in roughly 1 year (188 days ago). Again, I think this is a pretty basic feature, and I'm certain a large number of your customers (or potential customers) would love to see this.
I'm completely new to this and am struggling to do simple tasks. How do I use the same address for different people without having to type it in again (there are 7 children living in one house so as you can see typing the same address over and over is driving me crazy!).
Also, how do I add those address details into a chart?
Recently I installed the 5th version of Family Tree Builder and after this an unconvenience has appeared: last names of married women are displayed as their husbands' ones. When I used the previous version of the software maiden names were displayed, and I was satisfied because a maiden name is more informative (in my opinion).
I was unable to change this representation because there is no way to do this: the settings are not displayed in section "Names" of the corresponding dialog (see the attachment).
I use Ukrainian as display language and main data language the same as display language.
Please help me with following problem in FTB:
If I have 2 people maried, then divorced - its okay, status is changed to "divorced".
But, if have man woman as "partners" (non married, but with child), how can i "divorce" they? Simply, I need in FTB any status for ex-partners.
This is just the problem! This action (in result on web) overrides previous partnering status. So both partners separated status are visible locally in table in FTB, but on web is published (or visible?) only end status - separated.
As i wrote yesterday: in states married divorced are on web visible both states, but here only the last one.
