So, I was adding people to my family tree. My sister then contacted me and told me that something was wrong, a person was listed as having a different dad than his siblings so I tried to fix it. Everytime I try to I get this message.

Every single time I try to update this person, to delete him and this un-named father, it won't work.
When publishing from FTB, not all photos are uploaded. My storage space is approx. only half used in the MH website. What gives? All photos are in FTB and all are tagged. Have saved and published twice with same results. Are there any limitations to file size of photos? Most of mine have been scanned at at fairly high resolution. Here is copy of error report:

Hi, I have family members who have uploaded photos into an album that I want to use in the family tree. If I download these photos and use them in the tree then I get 2 copies of the photo. Is there anyway you can select photos in albums to use in the family tree - e.g. when you are in the tree and select add photo, in the browse is there a way to browse already uploaded photos. If this is not a feature is it one worth considering? Thanks for any help.
What you have to do to workaround the situation that you are talking about is to first tag that person in the picture.
Then you can go into the 'tagged photos' section under Photos, and find all the tagged photos of that person.
Then choose the photo that you would like to be that person’s personal photo, hover over that photo and click on the grey icon on the right. The personal photo will then be shown with a blue icon on the top right.
i entered the Calander settings, removed the mark from the check box that supposed to import yearly events of people that passed away. (just something to make a change)
i saved the settings, and got a msg that 900 event are added to the calander.
switched to monthly view of the calander, and got a blank page (added the scrennshot),
went back, checked the check box again, saved, switched to monthly view and nothing, blank.
the same thing with dayly view, the only thing that shows is yearly view of the calander, i see marks at places that has events, but when i press it it turns me to the blank page again (added a screen shot for that too)
i'm so eager to show my family what are we all paying for :-)
we are on MyHeritage web site for nearly two or three years, and still this thing isn't working.

Why are my smart matches not coming up? 'It" keeps stating that I have to 'update', how long does that take?? My smart matches used to work, now they aren't. Why?
We have recently made many improvements on the Smart Matching technology on our site and in FTB. Please try your smart matches again (updating your tree, and republishing it to your family site).
How do I correlate both of these trees. Example, when I add a picture to one tree, I would like to be able to click a button and have it put on the other. Sometimes I add to my Heritage Program offline and sometimes, I work online. I would like for both of them to be exactly the same...without me having to do double work. Is there an easy way to do this?
I know I can import and export and create new trees. I want to be able to blend the updated one with the existing one... pictures included. I haven't been able to find a way to do this. Is this possible?

If you build your tree on the program, you can publish it to your family site from time to time, by simply clicking on the publish button.
You should be aware that if you publish your tree from the program to the site, you and your site members will not be able to edit the tree online - although it will still be possible to add and tag photos, and to add documents.

Hi, this problem bothers me also. There are some features that are available only in FTB (like chosing partner that's already listed in the tree) that aren't working in GEDCOM. If export GEDCOM from FTB to online program, I loose photos and I don't know how to show them in the tree again. I did the tagging but I don't see the pictures in the online tree. It would be very helpfull if the photos are also included at import to online program.
Thanks for your reply. I did export the tree with photos included. In the FTB I can see them in the tree. But when I export them again from FTB online, the photos are not visible in the tree. They are visible for example in the window, where I do the invitations though. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks a lot. Are there any info's about the other new features that will be included in release No 5? I would like very much the option of picking the partner that's already in the tree to be added.
