The only thing you can do at this point in time is to delete people one by one. We don't have an option to allow you to trim a branch of the tree.
(Our family tree software can do this, but it takes many steps to convert the tree, make the changes and import it back to your site, so I don't really recommend trying to use the software at this stage. However, if you would really like to know the steps I can tell you. Let me know.)
You can be a member in his family site and you can get Smart Matches with his tree, but we don't have a function that lets you join your two trees together so that if you click on his entry in the tree you can actually navigate to his tree. We're considering doing something like this in the future.
I've spotted a distant relative who is categorized as being in a 'nebraska web site ' ( I cannot remember the exact term, sorry),
and could not see the entire details for her descendants, nor how to contact the (presumably) living relative who place the details there. I've made an application to join the site , about 3 or 4 days ago, and been told to wait for a response from the person responsible . Is it odd that I haven't heard a thing, or am I just a little bit impatient ?
the site's name was simply "nigh" (the version existing now, only having me and my parents is the one that i'm pretty sure everything was deleted from. i had it going back 5 or 6 generations. not a small feat for my family)..
FYI, totally unrelated but... i started doing some geneology but when i went to search the database (in which i was asked to install a Java applet) it threw back an error about the certificate of SearchApplet.
