I don't know if the problem are the dates or same fact.
I send to you 2 photo of my screen.
The number-10.jpg are the facts ordered in FTB
The number-11.jpg are the facts, after publishing, not ordered in web
When I was a member basic, if with Family Tree Builder I added a new photo, comments (name of photo) didn't appear in the site. Now that i am a member premium, the comments are the original names of my files in my pc. From the site i change the name to the photo, but if I again use FTB, it removes my names and put again that originals in the pc.
Ihave just tried to do this with other new photos. First I update the photo with FTB, and the photo take the name of the original file. Using the access via web I rename the photo and the new name remains until I use FTB again (it rename the photo with the original name egain).
Before that I become a premium member, when I update a photo with FTB, there is no name in the photo. Via web I rename the photo and the new name remanes until I use FTB again (it clear the name of the foto).
In FTB I do so:
icon "photos"
icon "new" and then "new photos"
I browse to find my photo and I click "select" and "next"
"click the detail on the photo now" is ON and I click "finish"
in "info" I change the title of the foto but via web it remains the old title.
I am not sure I understand, which of the two is the issue:
1. you rename the photo in the Family Site, then publish your project and the name in FTB overides the name in the Family Site (which is what should be happening)
2. you rename the photo in FTB, publish your project, but don't see that name in the Family Site (which should not happen)
ok, I send to you many photo.
The 1st is Flora-e-Alice.jpg and is the one that I have just published.
The other six are from my screen.
number-1.jpg while I'm selecting photo to publish (in FTB)
number-2.jpg while I'm changing the name (in FTB)
number-3.jpg after the rename (in FTB)
number-4.jpg after publishing (web)
number-5.jpg after the rename via web
number-5.jpg after another publishing the name is the old again
I would like to have a nation-less and secular calendar with only family's events. I haven't chosen any specific culture, religion ornation, but I still get in the calendar what seems to be typical American celbrations. Can I get rid of them please?
Perhaps we could have a Surnames boards that people can post topics on. They should put the surname on the Subject line and then we don't have to open every topic just in case they might have one of our family names.
It's a week ago I can't reach my family site. And none of my family members.
You aren't answering my e-mails, I couldn't find out what to do. My site sends newletter to us, but we can't reach the site. Google tells that the DNS server is missing.
I tried to change browser, change computer, search on google for other myheritage sites, but all of them are missing except the twitter and the myheritage blog site. The family tree program can establish contact to the site, and it can upgrade the tree. For further information about the error please contact me on my mail: eldon@upcmail.hu
Site is: http://www.myheritage.hu/site-54139111/matecz-istvan-web-site
After a little bit of search I learned that the hungarian pages are the missing sites.
On a forum many other webmasters reported that their sites are missing too. One of them suggested that before someone repairs the error we should change the language to english or other. Most of them are working. It's not bad, but many of my relatives doesn't speak english or another language only hungarian. They can't use the site until the repairing. I hope you can solve the problem soon.
There appeared a notice at my startpage. One of my members should have added some changes to the facts of another. Looking there, I saw the email adress of the first member writte as living town of the second one. And at the right list at the start page the first member was listed with the birthday of the second one.
I asked him what he had changed. The answer was that he only sent a birthday greeting to the second member.
After uploading some changes, the effects written above were gone.
Hi, I have created my tree in FTB, the adoptive links work OK there, but when I have published the tree to the website, I can't find a way to let people view that adoptive relationship on-line... One can find the "alternative" family if one knows the relevant name, but one can't interactively browse between the blood and adoptive families. Can this be done? Is it a issue that is to be addressed, or is it a non-issue?
