When I create a new category for my links (Manage categories under Links under Activities), the folder icon is not shown. I have reported this earlier (a long time ago), but it is still not solved. Thanks.
Who else think that many options which can indeed increase the chances of findind new relatives shoudnt be payed for, i mean, tihs all site should be all free, there was no need of upgraded acounts...why not give the same options for everyone for free?...is that all about the money?..theres thousands of people wishing having more space, more options to their pages but who unfortunately just cant upgrade their page to premium...i think this site is earning millions already with traffic, why put some in 1 box and others in another..its just unfair...for whatever reason that people cant upgrade, i think we all should deserve the same options...i have found relatives from smartmatches which is a great aplication but just cant contact them because i have to upgrade my acount, which i find pretty stupid...this site should be free for everyone, no limitations, no nothing, who else agrees?...comon myheritage site team, put the smartmatches for free for free users, premium users, to ALL users.
You are so right! If you are intending to join myheritage it says in Google that this site is absolutely free.......load of crap. It entices you to sign up and now that they have enough members we are now being restricted from adding anything except to edit births deaths ect. To add profile photos you have to upgrade, to add relatives you have to upgrade.
Well I am deleting everything and am going to look for another site.

Given the current economic situation, and the fact that we have remained a free site for so long, we cannot continue to serve millions of users and have everyone using the site for free; something has got to pay back for all the developers, servers, databases, etc.

The photos uploaded with FTB to show people in the tree is not showing in any albums at the family site.
Questens:
In FTB I marked a person in a big photo. Is it the big photo there is uploadet to the family site?
Or is it a small cropped photo?
If I also upload the big photo to the family site, does it then fill up twice?
I have recipes, forums, links, guestbook, etc. checked in Settings -> Content, but the only things showing up in my Activities tab are Games and Articles and I can't find links to the others anywhere else either. Are the other activities not available to free users?
I too was very confused by this change. I hope they are brought back....that's one of the areas I was using to try to appeal to family members to actually JOIN the site.
I was also confused with the change. The family site that I already used some of the activities still shown, but then my new family site (different family) didn't have any of the activities, such as articles and receipes. I also hope that the articles section comes back so I can use it on my new family tree as well, or atleast these links being able to be accessed from someplace else on the site.
