Hmm.. ok. Maybe I'll give it a try. I used a program called Branches (www.branchesgenealogy.com) that can prune down trees and export them to gedcom's. maybe I'll try trimming out the duplicate parts of the tree and just try importing the part of the tree that isn't already in my existing tree.
If I chose to ignore a tree; will that tree's manager be notified? I've got 2 matches from a tree managed by someone whose last correspondance with me was less then kind...i don't want to hear from her again. So I'd like to know if she'd be notified if I choose to ignore her tree
Is it posible to relocate the Message Boards from Apps to Home front page so it can be visible to everyone. As a Site Manager of my Family Website, I would like to have the full control of re-arranging and moving Certain pages or links to the front Home page and customize it according to my needs. The reason I'm asking for this changes is because most of the members can't see cartain pages and they don't botter to search for it.
I'm looking forward for that to happend and I had previously asked if possible to add A live Chat, voice and Video conferencing option Tool to the MyHeritage website, so we can be able to have some communication with online members of the family just like on the Facebook page.
When you use the relationship report option on the online tree; it doesn't give the relationship on it's a close relationship between the two people. However on FTB when you do the same thing; it shows the relationship regardless of how close or distant the relationship is. Might I suggest changing the site version so that it's similar to that used in the program; so it can show a relationship regardless of if it's close.
The relationship report is one of the things I like the best - and can not really use it, since I have over 5-6000 people in my tree. The FTB - takes 10 seconds and you have the whole thing there, no matter amount of generations. Really irritating. In addition, on the smart-searches, I get up "direct ansestor" once in a while. If it is under 20 generations, support told me - but what's the point? We want this information. If I had known this - I would have taken another system. This was never told anywhere. This pisses me off 100%.
