I no longer have any pictures in my online Family Tree. The pictures show up to the left of the tree but NOT in the tree in the frame for the dfferent persons. How do I get them back into the tree as they were before?
I have a variation of the previous problem. When looking at all the photos and documents attached to a random family member online, out of e.g. 7 items, only two are visible on my W7 PC. All the items, however, are visible in the photo show option as well as on my FTB. On Mac/Safari all the items look OK. What could be the problem and how is it fixed?

My question is related, perhaps, to the original one in this thread.
I am using the Family Tree Builder and uploading to the site. In the Family Tree Builder I select a person as "Home Person." I select a person other than myself.
After uploading, the on-line tree does not initially display the entire branch of the Home Person selected in Family Tree Builder. What it seems to display is only that portion of the Home Person's branch which connects the Home Person with me. For example, although the selected Home Person had 5 children, the tree initially displayed in the on-line site shows only the child in the direct line between me (the Home Person's great grandchild) and the Home Person.
As you indicated in your first response, I can click on the "branch card" icon to display the Home Person's full branch. My preference, however, is that the first tree displayed upon loading of the family site would reveal the full branch of the selected Home Person.
Like so many others, I have two outdated copies of my primary tree that I wish to delete, but they lack a delete function. They are both quite large (over 400,000 persons each), have been updated into a 2012 version on my site, and have been disconnected from the SmartMatching system for several months.
The trees that need to be deleted are:

Thank you! That completes my efforts to upgrade and update my MyHeritage site. I figured that the size was the problem both with deleting obsolete trees and in speeding up the system response. I appreciate your help.
Why do new updated versions of a tree not automatically delete the old one. Every day I dave more and more smart matches to people who have multiple trees with the same people in them. I have to go through and click ignore tree all the time, which is a real pain, and does no body any good. I hear others with the same complaint.
Generally, when you sync your tree you overwrite the data on your site.
However, if you choose to save your project as a new project it will create a new (duplicate) project on site. An issue that happens from time to time is that instead of saving the project normally ("Save project..." function), site managers pick the other function ("Save project as...") which accidentally saves their project as new ones and thus creating the duplicate smart matches.
Another options is individuals who work with GEDCOMs (from other softwares) and not the family tree builder, unfortunately there is no GEDCOM overwriting functionality and they simply have to delete the old tree and upload the new tree.
There are a few other possibilities such as loading from backup that may upload it as a new tree (by accidentally choosing the wrong options)
The best course to resolve this would be to contact the other site managers and to ask him why is this happening with his site - and to possibly help them as they may be unaware of the situation.

My partner had added over 1500 photos to her family tree program over the months since she started using your software. But she noticed earlier today that they are no longer showing up in the photos section of the program. Although the ID thumbnail photos are still there. And the photos are actually still there in the My Heritage photo directory.
I checked within the program and it states the 1500 photos are still associated to that family tree project. But everything i have tried everything i can think of, including the option within the program to scan for genealogy files (and after importing several older dated versions of the tree) still no photos are showing up!
I even tried uninstalling and resinstalling the software (amongst other things) to no avail.
An old backup i made several months ago of the actual "My Documents/MyHeritage" directory (with only 500 or so photos) works fine and the photos are there. But that is not much help really with so many photos and more than 1000 people that had not been added yet at that point.
I've searched the forum and seen that people who have an online backup of their family trees have managed to restore their photos via that method. But my partner hadn't decided to upload her family tree online yet, so that is not going to be a feasible solution in our case.
I also read that this is a known bug that occurs sometimes when the virtual cemetery is used. But she has only ever used the very basic features within the program to build her family tree, and view it. And hasn't ever tried any of the other features such as the cemetery etc.
If this is a bug with no available solution, then i will have to resort to stringently making a backup of the My Documents/My Heritage folder every week, or else search for alternative software. As this is quite a serious and worrying bug that should definitely be ironed out as soon as possible, as i doubt that we will be the only people to have had this occur and then become so incredibly disillusioned and frustrated by it.
