Our automatic face recognition has some problems identifying faces if the person in the photo does not face the camera, or is partially hidden by another person. You can, however, tag the missing faces manually by clicking the 'Add a person' button which is available below the list of people in the photo.
About deleting a photo, make sure that you delete the photos that you uploaded manually. If you delete the photos that were published by the Family Tree Builder software, these photos will be republished the next time you save your project. There is a little trick to know which photo was uploaded by you and which one was uploaded by the software: Photos that were uploaded by you have 2 extra buttons to the left of the delete button for rotating the photo to the right and left.
About getting the matching between photos and people back to your computer, that is a good suggestion, and we will sure think about it for the next version of Family Tree Builder (version 5)
I am using a Chinese Tradition Vista PC. I tried to mark some person in my photos, but some persons can't be added as your system can't find out the name which I typed in. But the name is correct. And I tried to find this member of my family tree, your webpage can't help me to find out of this person. So the search function using to tag persons in a photo should have problems with a Chinese name input, is it?
I had tried. But the same problem insist. Still About 50% of family member can be tagged by the search engin. But I tried to use this name to find out this family member, it's ok. The system can find out by my tpyed name. But why can't use in the photo tag function?
Please try adding a space between the first and last name of the person you want to identify. If this doesn't help, please send me an email with the name of the person you want to identify in Chineese. This way I will be able to check what's wrong.

Have recently come over from Genes Reunited, and the direction your site seems to be going is a lot better!
I would, however, say that £54 a year is rather expencive...
I have a lot of photo's stored in Picasa, tagged with both Googles Facial Recognition and locations. Rather than set it all up in Picasa, only to have to set it all up again on MH, is it not possible to parse the data between the sites using Google Gears?
This would allow updating both ways...
All in all - youve got a great opportunity to be what Genes Reunited should have been - watch the pricing, listen to the community, and Im sure we - the community - will help you get there! :)
Some story about Rubina Ali, one of the child artistes from the oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ being sold is doing the rounds. Is it a fact? How can something so miserable actually happen? Can I get more on the story?
It’s really sad. Rubina Ali stays in a slum in Mumbai, India. And it’s a fact that her father who is desperately in need of money put her up for an illegal sale! You can get details of the sordid tale on http://woodenspears.com and lots more on celebrity gossip.
I have an old picture (1926) of my family. And I have another picture of a group of people (labourers). Now I'd like to find out if some of the people on both pictures are the same persons. How can I manage this?
When I try to upload a file off my computer, I always get this error. I've updated to Flash 10, I tried IE7 and also Firefox, I've tried all sizes of photos from small to large (900kb) but can't get past the error quoted above.
I'm running Vista SP1 with all the latest updates (it was a clean install, only the latest drivers and plugins were loaded off the internet). Any ideas?
It would be helpful to know what in the Myheritage system triggers this error message.
