We've recently implemented a new feature which allows you to automatically post collages to your MySpace/Bebo/Friendster/Facebook/etc profile.
Here's how it works:
1. Instead of manually copy/pasting the HTML code into your profile, now all you have to do is make your collage and click on the site where you have a profile and we take care of the rest.
2. If you still wish to post your collage manually, the HTML code is always there for you. Just click on the "Help" section of the collage wizard instead of choosing automatic posting. You'll find the code there with instructions on how to post manually.
3. If you don't see the site where your profile is listed, try the "More Sites" tab. If your site is still not there, write us and suggest it - email@example.com - we want to hear more of your suggestions! :)
If you get an error message when trying to save your collage, it may mean the connection to the server at MyHeritage was disrupted during the creation process. This can happen because of a problem on our side, or simply because an internet connection didn't respond.
If you get the error over and over again, try navigating away from the page and then returning. This will reset the server connection with MyHeritage and it should take care of the problem.
Over the past several months I have tried to use the celeb-look alike thing. But every time I try to load it, it comes to a blank screen and says "loading...please wait" but at the bottom of my page it says "done". I have tried to use different pictures and nothing is working. I tried contacting someone and she told me that I wasn't using a front facing picture, or something like that. Which, I have used like 5 pictures. Not one of them is working. I've even tried to use other people's pictures and it still doesn't work. I really need help!
I'm a member since last October. I made some collages but now I can't find them. Also, I just made a new one and when I was done, I clicked "Preview" and then "Save" and didn't get any error messages so I assumed it is saved. Now, I'm looking for it as well as my other ones but can't find them. Why?
I've tried to instal the flash player on my computer but it doesn't seem to be working. I went to their site and clicked on the install button. It then tells me that it has successfully been installed. Then when I go back to do the face recognition it still says that I need to install the flash player. What am I doing wrong?
There seems to be a bug in older versions Macromedia Flash player that is causing problems.
The older versions don't get uninstalled properly when you install the newest version and it confuses your computer.
What you need to do is go to http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157 and download the special Adobe uninstaller for Flash. This will clean your system of any previous versions of Flash player.
After you have finished this, please download the newest version of Flash again.
Once this is completed, I would be happy to invite you to visit MyHeritage once more and use Face Recognition.
If you'd like to remove your collage you'll have to delete the HTML code.
The HTML code is usually displayed in the "About Me" or "My Interests" section of your profile.
What you need to do is go to "Edit Profile" and find one of the above categories. You'll recognize the HTML code for the collage because it has MyHeritage written in it somewhere.
What is important, is to delete ALL the code, but not to delete code from other things you've added to your profile. The HTML code for your collage should begin and end with the same symbols -
What I suggest you do is to cut/paste the code to a word doc and then go back and view your profile to make sure you got the right code. That way you haven't deleted anything important by accident. And you can save your collage if you want to post it at a different time.
