I have just disccovered that I have the wrong mother assigned to one of my ancestors. How do I correct my mistake so that the person in question is shown as the child of her father's second wife? I have to be sure that the person in question is transferred with her husband and their children along with dates, etc.
When you are looking at someone's pink/blue namecard you see the "add" at the bottom left. Click on that and one of the options is "remove connection." You can disconnect from the parents there. Once you've done that click on add again and "connect to existing person." There you can attach to the father and it will give you a choice of wives.
If you make a new site for a special purpose like that, can you specify that is is 'inactive', except for changes you make yourself?
They do not need to be part of the Smart Match system; lots of 'extra' sites exist, a number of site owners I regularly confirm/reject smart matches with have four, five, six sites and the amount of extra effort that causes could be easily a couple of hours a week that none of us can afford. Many of these sites are for a special purpose and don't need to be in the Smart match system, which will match to the regular working site or sites anyway.

I counsel patience. I have been waiting for a week for help with an urgent FTB problem and got angry as hell. Then I looked at the calendar and saw there were TWO contiguous important National Holidays this week (Wednesday and Thursday), so all week there was probably only a skeleton crew if any at all.
Generate a chart & you will see the WHOLE family in PDF form...if you mean you can not see the whole amily tree in the MyHeritage or within your Family Tree Builder...you won't...they will only show about 2 or 3 generations at any one time as your tree is to big to fit into the one screen.
So if you click on mum or dad the children are displayed, then when you click on your brother/sister there children & spouses are displayed or if you click on your grandparents only the uncles & aunts are diaplyed but you click on an uncle or aunt to view their family etc etc etc
You will not see the WHOLE family within the MyHeritage or Family Tree builder simply because your family tree is now to big but everyone is there, you just have to scroll/click through it...if you want to see them all on 1 page then generate a chart of everyone.
Hi Zakariya, I think there may be some confusion. Anyone you have invited (member) to your site should be able to scroll through the entire tree. If one of your members has visited the site as a guest and has not signed in with their password, they will be restricted in what they see to protect your privacy. They must sign in to use all the features.
