I've got an email with a link to pay with paypal and then he asked for my credit card information to help me pay, because I had to put my children to bed.
I will never give any one my creditcard information, but if that's your seller please tell themthat this kind of phone calls is very suspect. I will never pay from a link that I got on mail, please send a discount cupon instead.
I have booth the email and phone number if MyHeritage wants to check. It's so mush fishin on the internet right know.
Dears, yearly fee is very high (at least for me). So I would like to ask you what will happen after 1 year of premium account when I would like to come back to basic (free). Will all the connections with other trees be lost? My pictures exceeded basic quota deleted?
If you decide not to renew , you can request to downgrade your site back to the basic free plan. Your site will remain active and accessible to you and your family site members. The only limitation is that you won't be able to add more individuals or photos (if you exceed the basic limit) to your family tree. You can still add news articles and communicate with your family members. Birthday reminders will still be sent as well.
you did not answer clearly to my question. Please tell me what will happen in this case:
I will buy Premium plus account and during one year I will upload 2GB of photos and connect to my tree 1500 people. Then I will ask to downgrade to basic plan. Will all my pictures and the whole tree remain with limitation that I will not be able to add new pictures and new people?
This is a long standing problem - I am constantly returned with a zip file error every time I publish. Then if I add extra people to my family tree builder, they do not appear in the on line family tree itself. Could someone who knows something about this please assist.
I am only on this site to play around, really. I'm not interested in using the builder to build my tree or see my geneology or anything. I'm a writer and I wanted to use the program solely because it is the most straight forward program that I could find that I could make a family tree for my characters. The problem is, the basic version doesn't show all of the characters, which is rather frustrating for me, as that is one of the, say, five things that I required of this program.
It's annoying, but fine, I'll pay if I really have to just to get that one feature (I don't even need most of the features of the basic version. Just the layout, showing who is related to who, the maiden name feature is nice, and the entire family tree) then fine. I'll fork out $7 for a premium account just to fool around. No other programs show more than one offspring at a time, which is useless to me.
My question - other than perhaps getting this one feature enabled with more useless features (research, matches, photos, etc) disabled, though I doubt that's possible, unfortunately - is if it's possible if I could maybe pay only for the one month and have premium for the one month?
PS. Is it that I only have to pay premium once, can have the website that I'll never use a basic account but the builder will be premium?
I have contacted SUpport, am Premium Plus member and no response to fix the problem. Here's the email I received a few days ago:
“Good news: we have given all the users who have a subscription to WordVital Records or FamilyLink (the websites we acquired last year), a free data subscription for SuperSearch for the same duration. You are among the users who received this gift from us so you can enjoy Record Matches, for free!”
I have a subscription to WVR until Nov 2013 and I am not able to access the data images for free--it only shows a page asking me to pay AGAIN!!!!
I tried to post to your BLOG and you censored my post!
I just want the access promised above in the email for current WVR subscribers. The only response I received said I had to pay AGAIN and that is just outright FRAUD!
Thank you very much for checking on this--after the first reply to my initial email, it didn't look quite right. I appreciate your correcting this data subscription status and it is an exceptional matching tool. Will it be available then on all my Premium Plus sites?
After trying to get in contact with you regarding messing up of my pictures in my treees, I post the question here. How come that many of the pictures in my family tree is mixed. Many of the female persons are placed under male persons and vice versa. What can be done to get this fixed?
There is a bug we are aware of that is causing the problem. We are working to fix it as soon as possible.
If you were to publish to a new family site the tree and photos would be fine. If you are interested in publishing to a new family site as a workaround until we can fix the problem let me know and I will tell you how to do that.
Now it has taken a long time to fix this problems. If it is possible, I would like to publish my tree to a new family site. But what about all the smartmatches? And what about all the pictures that are on my site?
