Our Family Tree Builder software doesn't have a Mac version yet.
We've received many requests for this, so producing a Mac version is definitely in our plans. In the meantime, you can wait until we have a Mac version, or continue to grow your tree online.
A tree can be built online on MyHeritage.com, using a Mac. If you have a tree already and it has been published into your own family site on MyHeritage.com, we can, at your request, flip a switch so you'll be able to continue editing your tree online on your Mac, with a browser.
The site has most of the same features as Family Tree Builder. There are some added options available for data input in the software, since it is saved on your computer, and therefore will not get slow.
I have two individuals which show up as duplicates when I publish the family tree and when I publish a book, however, when I go to the list of individuals they show up as single individuals having the same number i.e. 346 & 347. When I check for duplicates they do not show up.
I think that the reason for the issue that you report is that a person’s card may appear twice because of cyclical relations inside the tree, but in that case there will be a x2 icon next to him, meaning the data is NOT duplicated.

Thank you for responding Lior.
You are correct on the tree on the website it shows the x2 icon on both individuals. How do I correct this situatuation?
I have thoughy about deleted both individuals and re inputing them attaching them to the approriate families, but I'n not sure that would work.
The x2 icon is there to indicate that the data is NOT actually duplicated and a person only appears twice because of cyclical relations in the tree. Therefore there is actually only one indivdual in the tree that appears twice in the display. Deleting him would not change this.
Please let me know if you have any further questions/concerns.
I did install OpenOffice. After setting up the spreadsheet, fields are comma seperated, it looks great. I have collected several large GedCom files over the years and this will help me go through them.
Since july I have not been able to open any links in My Heritage. Is anybody else having this problem? MSN Is not helpful in solving the problem or even acknowledging the issue. The site opens but is immediatly block by a screen that says:
It is difficult to diagnose your problem without more information. One thing that comes to mind is the Adobe FlashPlayer. The MyHeritage tree is programmed using the FlashPlayer. Thus, if you should have uninstalled the FlashPlayer or blocked the Flash Player add-on in your browser, this would explain, why you cannot view your tree any longer.
I have been invited to join and add information to another tree. I can get to that persons home page, but cant seem to get to place to start adding information. It doesnt seem to be set up right. Help please
