They told me to click on a tool icon on the bottom right of photo. It didn't work for me. I had several duplicates or incorrectly labeled photos. If it works for you let me know.

I made some mistakes when building my family tree. How I can delete people (editing is not enough...)?
show your tree, find the person you want to edit - click on 'edit' (lower right hand side) and a sub menu will show - move down to delet person and that takes the whole person off tree.
If your tree is created in Family Tree Builder, do you have to make the changes in that program. You cannot work with your tree online.
To delete a profile, open Family Tree Builder and go to the profile that you want to delete, right click, click on "person" and then "delete person".

I have deleted a person this way. However, when I re-publish the site that person is still listed on the online site but is now not listed in the local file
I have tried to change the email address for a member of our site Johannes Jacob Brits (born 04 June 1957) first on line, then from Family Tree Builder. In both instances the system tells me that the email address has allready been taken. How can I correct this?
hello when another person invites me to their tree am i able to add information and photos to their tree where we have same family members or are they the only ones allowed to thanks betty.
Thank you for the reply. My wife is the manager of the site, and has invited me, as we experiment. She made the changes, but when I pull the site up it still says Family tree is managed by (my wife) and cannot be changed by me. Any suggestions?
No I don't understand it unless it is a bug. If the tree was started in Family Tree builder no one can update it online, but I assume this is not the case under the circumstances. My tree has always been open to member edits so I haven't had to worry about what changing the settings would do. You might give it a little while, but other than that I can't tell you anything.
Is it possible that your wife hit Cancel at the end instead of Save? I am not accusing your wife of making mistakes, I just want to cover all the bases I can think of.
Thanks once again for trying to help. My wife sent our question to MyHeritage Support, and they said our Family Tree was created within the program, and that they could switch it to the web if we wanted. That is suppose to solve the problem.
I'm trying to import and export data into/out of My Heritage using the Export List of Families report. It works well however the child/parent relationships are not retained.
Which Excel report can I run or modify to get this information retained? I tried the Custom Excel Report but I don't know which fields I should select.
