I understand the issue now, but unfortunately that's something I can't help explain. I know people who do that sort of thing with their computers, but I never have.
Does this happen only when using different users on your computer? If you log into your user do you also receive this message? Would you like your wife not to see the Family Tree Builder at all when she uses her computer user?
This has happened several times in my tree where I have two families linked by a son of one marrying a daughter of the other. If I later discover that another son (already in the tree) married a daughter of the other family (also already there) I will use the 'connect to existing individual' option to connect them. Sometimes I then discover a third connection.
On several occasions this has resulted in the parents switching sides in the display (eg mother now on the left, father on right) with correct colour pink or blue showing, correct gender in FTB on my computer.
BUT when I try for smart matches the smart match facility tries to match my mother to someone else's father data, and vice versa. So I cannot match. I cannot easily delete these individuals as they are bang in the middle of large extended family networks and the tree says the gender is correct anyway, it is just that they are switched so the mother looks to be in the usual father position.
Am I alone in having this problem? I have a lot of matches I would like to action and cannot.
Hi! no, you are not alone with this problem, i have the same also. But some reports alsos says that the male are wife to someone, but they are in the correct place on the tree. I hope they will corretct this soon.
Hi, So I'm finding great info on some of my relatives here. I confirmed the matches. I would like to update (in some cases replace) the data I have with the match I found. Is this possible?
Yes it is but you have to do it from your Family Tree Builder and then publish the new version to the website. In your MATCHES area you can merge the data from smart matches into you exiting data, automatically or selectivle for the tree or even manually one at a time. Hope this helps

I am trying to view a family members tree and it tells me I have to be a upgrade to see it. If I create and publish on this site does everyone need to pay just to see my site?
As well I do not see a satisfaction guarentee, does the site offer it?
I realy don't want to commit to a site for a year if it turns out to be crap.

If you purchase a data subscription indeed you will be able to access all research results within the SuperSearch feature.
The data subscription is personal, so only the person that purchased the subscription will be able to access the data.
Please note that you can purchase a credit package that is cheaper and will allow you to access specific records, according to their "price", and when you run out of credits, you will be able to decide if you would like to purchase more, or not.
When I choose Review Match/Compare Trees, I can see the text Loading but nothing more happens. I have let the program Load for over 2 hrs but...... still nothing. Anybody else with this problem? This all started about 2 weeks ago, before that it worked just fine.

well, its not ok, am still listet as the male in the reprots and my husband is listed as my wife. and now at the tree am on the male place. There are also several others that have swiched places still, I hope you can fix this so the male are back on the left side and the female are on the right side.
I have a Premium account and that promises me Priority Support!!!!!!!! Well still after 4 days I have NOT received any support! I can only guess what NON Priority support means. This is NOT the first time so for me it's pretty close to a scandal. Don't promise something you can't live up to.
