Thank you for writing and we appreciate your patience regarding this matter.
I understand that you have some sort of an error when you click on a person to "focus" on the family tree? This issue is not something we have encountered before, would you be willing to send us a screenshot?
This will help me forward the problem to our development team for debugging. To take a screenshot, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard; it is the key labeled as “PrintScreen” or "PrtSc". This will copy an image of the MyHeritage screen to your clipboard. Once you have done this, click the Windows Start button in the bottom left corner and run MSPaint. It should be under All programs > Accessories > Paint. Once it's open, click Paste from the Edit menu, or simply press CTRL-V. Now you can save the screenshot as an image file and attach that image to an email and send it to me.
Please let me know if you encounter difficulty in taking the screenshot.
As for the reply to William - we have a new version coming out in a couple of months. It should fix most of the annoying critical bugs you have experienced in this version of Family Tree Builder.
How do I view the whole of my family tree on line? When I click on the family tree icon I only get a small section of it. Also when I publish a family tree chart it only does a small section of it. How is this rectified.
I have 3 people in my Family Tree who had pre-nuptial babies with no recorded spouse then later on they married and had subsequent children (half siblings to the pre-nup children). They are recorded as a 'single parent' on their genealogy card for their first babies however, when the Book Report is produced the narrative says they were 'married twice' which they clearly weren't! How can I stop that happening?
I set up my site with an email address and posted my family tree - great. Decided a different email address would be better. Changed it - cool - it works with the password to log onto the web site.
The program shows the old email address. Tried to change it to the new one in the Tree Builder program - it tells me that the password does not match. I am SURE the password typed is correct because I copy it from a password store onto the clipboard.
I've tried changing the password on the website but the problem remains the same - can log on on the website but not publish or change the email addressfromTree Builder.
What is going on and how do I resolve this problem?????
