Jag kan se att du publicerade ett träd i går med namnet RISTRÖM. Detta träd har 262 profiler. Du skriver att hela mitt släktträd försvann. Hur många profiler fanns det i det trädet? Vad hette trädet? Var ifrån försvann trädet?

I have entered about 8 generations, but every time I try to view a family tree chart, it shows only about 4 generations. How can I view all the generations in one chart ? I have tried it in the online version and it works, but not in the Family Tree Builder on my computer. Please help.
It is also possible to show all generations when creating a chart/report in the Family Tree Builder software.In order to change the setting and display all generations, follow these steps:Create the Chart/Report > Click 'Options' > Choose the option: 'Show all generations' (for reports it is under 'Format' tab)
Now click 'Apply' or 'OK' and it should display all the generations.
Another question - do sthe Family Tree Builder work offline ? It is hard for me to tell because my computer is always connected to the internet, but would it still work if not connected to the net ?
The Family Tree Builder requires an internet connection only for the initial registration. Once you are already signed in, you don't have to have an open internet connection to build your tree.
Obviously internet connection is needed to publish the family tree to the online site, and also in some tools like the SmartMatch and SmartReserach.
A couple months ago I upgraded to premium plus. However I no longer have the time to work on my family tree. I have been wanting to just go back to the basic free plan and have tried numerious times to contact someone about this. But it seems Im not the only one around here who has a problem getting ahold of coustomer service.
You guys contacted me and convinced me to upgrade. Now that I want to downgrade I can't get in touch with you. This seems to be the only place where ppl have been getting any kinda of answer from anybody. So any reply on the matter and how it can be resolved would be great as Im starting to get rather annoyed with the whole situation.
I have people with a lot of information (in FamilyTreeBuilder), and when I export them to the web or running a report - they are called unknown?Anyone know what this comes from?
Hiya I am on at the moment on the basic package, and I am at the moment very tempted to take out a subscription for the plus that cost £114.00 with the awful VAT added. do you by any chance do this subscirption by direct debit method as this would be alot more easy for me than paying for the whole subscription in one go... thank you
I have a family member I invited but she didn't go to the site. Now a year later she wants to but when I go to the invite family members she is already invited so I can't send to her. Is there a way to do it???
I suggest that you go on your site to Home > Site members and see if she is listed as a site member of your site. If so, please have her search her mail history to look for her invitation mail. She can also just go to www.myheritage.com and try to log in using her email address. If she forgets her password, she can click on the forgot password link, and a new one will be sent to her.
Thank you so much. I should have thought of that. I knew I had invited her but she said I didn't. I love this site but don't spend as much time here as I would like to and I am having trouble getting family members to participate.
Your fathers relation to your mother has nothing to say, you should show up as a son to your parents. ADD a husband to your mother and..... thats it! A child is NEVER moved from their original parents when you add a new husband/whife/friend or something else to one of the original parents.
If that has happend for you, you must have done something else. Do like this. Open the record of your biological father and put, let's say a 1 (One) as FIRST letter in his forename. Go to your own record, right click and choose Foreldre/Erstatte Foreldre, in the box for Finn you just write the number (1) and your father will show up, choose him and you will be connented to him and your mother. Open your fathers record and remove the number you added before.

In the home page you can edit the text and there are some meta tags that you can include in your text that dynamically retrieve information about your site. Currently I'm aware of the following but some don't seem to work, are there others?

Is there something that can refer to the user by their first name for example?

You are correct, that currently the <Ask member to participate>, and <Explanation on how to become a member here> are not working.
The <buttons> shows a button for the go to family tree, go to family photos, and go to family stats.
We will look into why these aren't working, and work on them in the future.
