Your fathers relation to your mother has nothing to say, you should show up as a son to your parents. ADD a husband to your mother and..... thats it! A child is NEVER moved from their original parents when you add a new husband/whife/friend or something else to one of the original parents.
If that has happend for you, you must have done something else. Do like this. Open the record of your biological father and put, let's say a 1 (One) as FIRST letter in his forename. Go to your own record, right click and choose Foreldre/Erstatte Foreldre, in the box for Finn you just write the number (1) and your father will show up, choose him and you will be connented to him and your mother. Open your fathers record and remove the number you added before.

In the home page you can edit the text and there are some meta tags that you can include in your text that dynamically retrieve information about your site. Currently I'm aware of the following but some don't seem to work, are there others?

Is there something that can refer to the user by their first name for example?

You are correct, that currently the <Ask member to participate>, and <Explanation on how to become a member here> are not working.
The <buttons> shows a button for the go to family tree, go to family photos, and go to family stats.
We will look into why these aren't working, and work on them in the future.
I just got billed for another year of subscription. I had no idea I was on some kind of auto-billing.
How can I manually control what I want to pay for and what not? If this is not possible, I ask you to terminate all my subscriptions that need payments.
Is it possible to receive a refund for the payment I was auto-charged for? I don't think I even used the site in the passed year!
I am thinking of becoming a paying member but wonder if the billing is done automatically every year from my creditcard? In case I am no longer interested in continuing the Premium membership is there a catch that I am forced to pay year after year or is it a 1 year contract?

You guys build an account that was no longer active, automatically without my permission! You have put me at a negative status.
I also wrote to myheritage.com and have received no answer. My problem is that children of my sisters-in-law appear as my grandchildren. I figure that if this error is in my family tree, there may be some others too.
You guys emailed me saying my account would be delete before the free trial, but this morning I get an email saying that I was charged for a full subscription. I am furious and demand a refund.This is ridiculous.

I have been working on my family tree for the last 25 years, i used this site when i became aware of it...it now seems that ALL my information has been hijacked by the 13 YEAR OLD SON of a cousin who isnt even related to one side of my family..and now I cant alter amend or add to this information ! I have tried unsucessfully several times to get some answers from support but all i get back are mails telling me ive been ticketed !
whats worse is,,he is finished his school project, is now living in India , is refusing to help , is no longer interested in this ,and hes telling me ...TUFF, start again !!

If you have a monthly backup you can retrieve it by going to the Family Tree tab, the choose Backup menu. All your backups are then listed and you can choose which one you want to retrieve. Good luck. Might be best to export your GEDCOM file first incase something goes wrong.
If you can get the tech support people to respond you might be able to restore it from an earlier backup. Good luck getting tech support to help though, I've been waiting 2 weeks for a reply on my issue.
Do you mean he took the information off of your tree? That's the way many people who use this site do their research. They get it through smart matches. It's even easier to do on Ancestry.com. You don't even have to look at the information there. Only way you can stop it is by making your tree private.
I'm getting event emails about people in my tree that have passed on. Currently I'm showing it's my grandmothers birthday coming up yet she passed on last year and she's marked as deceased in my tree.
Also in the past I've gotten marrage reminders from people in my tree whom are devorsed. Is there a way to stop those also.
I advise you to check if you do not have two different trees that contain the same person. If there is one of two that contains old information then you can get strange events.
I checked and sure enough there's a 2nd site under my account from the old Family Tree Legends software. For now I've disabled all of the updates from it, but that seems to be where the emails were coming from.
