We would like to send out a "Prayer Tree" message to the family members connected on our MyHeritage web site. What is the most effecient/effective way to do so? Similar functionality as to pushing/broadcasting a message immediately to all Family members.
I had two sites under the same email address and specifically asked them to only delete one of them but they deleted both. and to top it all then reset my account to being basic, so when I try to reinstall my 15,000 plus tree I am over quota, raised two tickets (#2013050110005889 & #2013050210006733) but no reply in 10 days, MH sucks!!
My brother entered his wife's parents names in our family tree. Now his wife's brother's daughter (not one of our family members) has entered their entire family in my family tree!! Also, My Heritage has allowed her to post herself as a Site Manager. This should not happen as I initially set up the account and am the only Site Manager. How can I delete this other family's records? I have looked everywhere and there does not seem to be a "delete" category. This has used up quite a few of my family's allotted space. Thanks.
Try a positive approach; ask if she would like to share the cost of a Premium or Premium Plus subscription. Or suggest she start her own tree to include those you would have not included in your own more basic tree.
Thanks but this is not an option. This is my family's tree, not theirs. I have asked them to start their own family tree which they will do but that doesn't solve my problem of deleting their info from my tree. There does not appear to be any way of deleting anything. I've tried the delete key but it doesn't do it. There has to be a way of removing info.
Thank you for writing and we appreciate your patience regarding this matter.
I understand that you have some issues with the relationship report, however we would be glad if you could be a little bit more specific about it. Could you tell us if it gives you an error message? And if so, what is the error message?
Please, let us know so we could identify the problem and help you solve it.
It's been almost a month...did you ever get an answer?
Go to www.myheritage.com. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click About Us. When that page opens, click Contact Us.
Note the four email addresses at the bottom of the Contacts page. Open a new email and paste those four email addresses in the BCC field (so none of them know the other departments have also received it). Go back to the Contacts page.
Fill in the email form on the contacts page. Before you click Send, copy the text of your mail to the clipboard. Click the Send button.
Paste the text of your message into the email you created. Send it to all four email addresses. With luck, SOMEBODY at MyHeritage will be awake and will respond to your email.
Where have you deleted these photos? You are a Family Tree Builder user and if you delete photos online and then published your tree again from Family Tree Builder, your photos will appear again online.
You have to delete your photos in Family Tree Builder if you do not wish to have them as a part of your tree again. Otherwise they will keep appearing, just like you described it.
thank you for asking.
You can research your family history using the following methods:
1. Use SuperSearch, (www.myheritage.com/research)MyHeritage's family history research tool. It has more than 4 billion records from around the world and it's growing all the time. Read more about SuperSearch on our blog.
2. Use the MyHeritage.com Smart Matches feature. This unique feature compares your family tree to the millions of other family trees on MyHeritage.com and discovers family trees that match (overlap) your tree. This is found in the Family Tree > Smart Matches page of your family site, or in the Family Tree Builder software. If you are using Family Tree Builder, be sure to publish your family tree first as this increases the quality and quantity of your Smart Matches.
3. Use the Smart Research feature in Family Tree Builder (Premium feature). It will research your entire family tree automatically in more than 100 of the world's best genealogy websites and databases.
4. Use FamilyLink and World Vital Records (requires additional subscription) to search several billion names within censuses & birth, marriage and death records. It also contains the web’s largest newspaper collection, with over 100 million newspapers dating from 1739 to the present day, 8,000 American high school, College and Military Yearbooks, as well as the world’s largest online index of Tombstone inscriptions and Tombstone photographs.
Family Link content is mainly based on records from USA, UK and Ireland, Canada and Australia. There is also content relevant to more than 50 additional countries, in smaller quantities. Since users who are not currently living in USA, UK and Ireland, Canada or Australia have ancestors who lived in those countries, FamilyLink records can be useful for almost all users worldwide.
5. Submit a question to other genealogists on our genealogy forums, here: http://www.myheritage.com/genealogy-forums
Good luck with your research!

Can I recover a previously used unique address for my site? I accidently changed my unique address and on discovering my error a moment later tried to change back to the original address but received a warning message 'Sorry, the address is already taken'.
Is there anyway the original address can be unlocked (by e-mailing MyHeritage perhaps) as it was presumably locked by my good self on initial use?
