I have had a lot of issues the past 6 months due to my large tree (148 000 records) and the fact that this does not work i FTB. The team seems very keen to solve the problems but, many times I get answers that seems to be produced by a "robot". It does not address my problem at all, it is very kind but...... no solution to my problem. Also I pay for priority support! What does that mean?
As you know we are working on the problems and we are doing our best to resolve all of your issues. The team tries to answer personally every post by every member in MyHeritage but the amount of emails could be overwhelming sometimes especially when we release new releases of products.
As far as I know there are no "robots" that answers questions of members directly. But when a person answers a lot of emails he might get a little bit "robotic" with his answers. If you have any complaints about a specific person that did not take care of your problem you can report us and we will investigate.
Since converting to Version 7, I have lost all my Notes against individuals. Despite sending an email directly to the Support Team and posting comments on the Version 7 forum, I have not had one response from MH. Please can you let me know how to recover my Notes - I am getting really frustrated. Thank you. Also I cannot enter any new Notes.
I really prefer the old way of updating/publishing from FTB to the MyHeritage site. Sycronization would imply that information on the site will be loaded into FTB and vice versa. Am I correct?
I have number of working trees that I do not want published. Now when I "Sync" they are uploaded to my site automatically. I believe that under "sync settings" if I select "remove sync" they will not publish. Is this correct? This information should be in the guide. Also, I prefer being able to select the tree I want to publish individually instead of the system publishing all trees each time it syncs.
I'm tired of seing a "New Records" flag and going to check a record, only to be hit with the WVR "BUY NOW" splash page.Are you ever going to offer a combined package for MyHeritage/WorldVitaRecords?
Not that I'd buy it. Every record that WVR has ever turned up that was remotely relevant (and damned few of those) I've ALREADY found at ancestry.com anyway. And the records there are all included in my subscription so there's never that "Wanna see the record? Pay more!" nonsense. And when I save that record to my tree, it automatically cites the same source to every relevant person in my tree (compared to having to work painfully one-by-one retyping the same source info over and over and over)
MyHeritage FTB has a lot to offer (it's better than my old Broderbund FTM, though I haven't checked since ancestry.com bought it). But more and more, I think you're falling behind the competition. And from all the problems reported on the forums, V7.0 isn't going to help you catch up, let alone pull ahead.
I am assuming they are working around the clock on FTB7, which is why I have not bothered them with a photo title transfer problem in FTB6 they fixed some months ago, but has popped up again last week with a different twist. I'll wait a couple more weeks before asking them to re-fix it. I am SO HAPPY that I did not download FTB7!!
Recently tagged people on my recently added photos didn't generate personal photos and "Change personal photo" dialog box doesn't load possible faces for choosing. Since I've paid for a Premium update, I believe I have the right to complain. Please, do something about.
I have had this problem for the last few weeks, I uploaded 21 photos, tagged everybody and none are showing up in my family tree. I have emailed help twice without reply and am fed up with this lack of reply. Please help
Any idea how near the near future might be? This bug is driving me mad. I have more than one site. On one site the photo tagging works perfectly on the other it doesn't work at all. Makes no sense! I have sent emails via the contact form with information to try to be helpful to whoever may be trying to fix this bug but I get no response.
Does anyone know if I purchase the Premium plan - do I get access to census records too? Or will I be charged another amount for that information? I can't find the answer any place on this site. I am about ready to give up.
I suppose you talk about U.S. Census - I am premium subscriber and when I go to the U.S.Census search form I can see list of results for my query, but if I try to open particular record I am forwarded to info page about data subscription advertisement. So you will be charged by another fee no matter if you are premium subscriber or not.
