I lost my premium services when I installed the new 4.0 version of the My Heritage Family Tree Builder today. The number of persons allowed to publish is now limited and it asks me to upgrade to the premium service to publish more people, etc.
My on-line web page is also back to the standard page without the enhancements of the premium services that I paid for.
What can be done to restore my premium membership services and do I get a discount/credit etc while I wait for the correction?
My son appears as unknown in my Family Tree online version. In FTB version everything is correct but after republishing the problem persists. I intented to delete the unknown person but I don't find any way to do it. In the forum most people with similar problem say that right clikcing on the person card should open a pop-up with an option "Person" and them a menu with the option "Delete Person" but right clicking on the person card just appears a Flash Player menu.
I thing in the MyHeritage new version that include the Modern View of family tree, something has been changed. Does someone knows how can I delete the unknows or someone in the online family tree now?
When other people on the forums say to right click on the person and you should get a menu "Person" they are talking about Family Tree Builder.
If you build your tree in Family Tree Builder you cannot edit the tree online at this point in time (we are working on that though). All changes to the tree MUST be made in the program and then republished.
It happens that there is an option to privatize a person in Family Tree Builder that, after publishing, results in an "unknown" shown for that person in your tree online.
I recommend that you check to see if privatization was accidentally turned on for this person in your tree.
To do so, go to the person and click Edit > Edit details of...
Then click on the Info tab. At the bottom of this screen there is a little checkbox "This person is privatized (do not publish details online)". Make sure this box is UNchecked and then republish.

A Publishing Request is the command for a specific family tree to be published to a specific site.
In order to publish a family tree you must create a Publishing Request.
A Publishing Request can be made once and then reused.
If I opened a publishing request for site X on account X and then changed the account details to account Y, the publishing request I currently have open would become invalid and would give the error message.
Family Tree Builder only knows that in Account X exist Site A, B and C and in Account Y exist Site 1, 2 and 3. When you get the "Site does not exist" error it is because you are esentially telling FTB "on account Y, publish to site A". For FTB there is no such thing.
It's okay to have "account Y, site 1" or "account X, site A".
It is not okay to have "account Y, site A" or "account X, site 1".
If you want to publish to a site that is on a different account, you should go to Publishing > My Sites and log in with the details of your second account. Then go back to Publishing > Publishing Settings and "use this account" and again enter the secondary account details.
Now all the relevant publishing requests for that specific account will be retreived and you will be able to successfully publish.
Firstly if you or your site members would like to download photos from the photos section of the website, what you can do, is to go into a picture (press view), and then right click and click save Image as.
There you will be given the option to save the image on your computer, wherever you'd like, and then re-upload them to a different site.
I have the same problem: I need to link existed pearents with existed child. And there is no way to do it through web interface. I know how to link them in FTB, but in that case there is a LOT of troubles with importing and exporting and then re-linking already registered (on the site) people witth imported from FTB family database.
There should be some way to link existed members, not just add new ones.
