Once I upgraded to myHeritage Premium Edition, all my married families doubled in spouses. This also added all their children again. I am trying to detach all the extra spouses, but it is exhaustive. I have not be able to do anything to rid the extra siblings. Most siblings are their own siblings and now there are a lot of half relations too.
I also want to know if there is a way, say by spreadsheet, that I can go to and make the changes back to the original without having to redo the whole tree?

Email My Heritage direct and explain the problem. I had a similar situation and received immediate help for My Heritage people.
The genealogy that I am having problems with is my Knight Family project. It occured in Family Tree Builder I think. I may have tried to import some information from a smart match but cannot remember. What I am doing to correct is deleting (detaching extra spouses and extra parents) which seems to be working but I have to do this for every singe person in the genealogy. I have over 1,000 entries.
I also have people married to themselves and to their spouses. What a mess!!
Is there a spreadsheet view or some easier way to get rid names I do not want?
Also, how can I change the name of an existing project?
I've been having trouble with My Heritage for over three months. I've e-mailed the 'online service' link and received no response or help.
I've paid for this service and I am not even able to use it. So, as promised in my last e-mail to the service center, I am posting my dissatisfaction on these forums.
Would I sign up for this program again? NO! Now I can't even cancel my paid subscription.
I am having the same problem with tech services not responding. I would not be complaining if I had stayed with the free copy but I paid for the Premium upgrade. My program does not load and I get an error that software has encounterd a problem and needs to close. any suggestion? My Heritage team surely has not given me any!!!!!!!
Noam did respond and tried to help. I figured out that if I delete the program and just import my saved copy of the database, I could start back updating.
I want to insert small pieces from a film about my grandfather. What restrictions are there on the amount of video-clip in Premium Plus plan, and the use of such kind of fragments?Can I add in Premium Plus site another functional blocks for the personal use of participants?
I edit an individual for a birth date, for example, 4/10/45 or 4/10/1945 or even April 10,1945. It makes the change immdiately BUT...when I leave the site & return it has been changed to ONLY the year...1945.
Is there a "SAVE" button or icon somewhere? Or am I missing something?
I want this date to show in the box on the family tree.
I've imported around 900 photos and keep getting the above error which closes the program each time I go to the photos tab. I've reinstalled the program. I've checked for updates. I've run a registry cleaner. I've checked the program for viruses. My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 on an Acer Aspire M3201 AMD Phenom 9150e Quad-Core Processor 1.80GHz 2.00GB RAM 32-bit
The myHeritage software is also loaded direct to the c: drive, ie c:myHeritage.
I would be grateful for suggestions to get rid of this run time error as there was little point importing the photos if I now can't view them!
My software is set for automatic publishing to the site - could this be interfering with the imported photo loading?
Then Browse till you find MyHeritage which is in the BIN file in you Program Files where you have FTB installed
Double Click on MyHeritage,
Click that file so that it appears in the box File Name box
Then Click open and it should appear in the Exception Box with a tick in the square alongside the name of the program, then APPLY and OK everything and you will find that FTB should work fine in Vista.
