I need to delete several photos from an album. I have removed them at my home FTB and updated - republished - my online Tree, but they are not removed - How do I remove them from the MH Family Tree - I'd like to put them in their own albums. Thanks.
Hi Esther, thanks for the reply .. Q - What happens if photos are entered by mistake, or if you want to change the name.? Even if the Recent Photos are in a Virtual Album they still take up the physical space somewhere. Maybe I'm not understanding the concept of the Virtual Album (Recent).
Hi, just went into the photo section and found the controls to rename - delete - etc. And the drag and drop feature to move pics into the correct albums.
Hi, a friend of mine has tried uploading photographs which are too large. Each time she logs in, the photos are still attepting to upload, but are clearly not going to after 2 weeks! We have renamed and deleted the original photos from the Pictures Library on her PC, but My Heritage is still trying to upload. We have also copied photos in the albums into new albums. Lastly we have deleted all of the albums, but the Recent Album is still attempting to upload. How can we stop this from happening? Is there a way to clear the history of the Recent photos album?
Firstly, I would recommend that you try to edit the photo and make it smaller, in order to upload to the site.
The ‘Recent Photos’ album is the first photo album that you will see in the photos section on your site.
It collects either the last 100 photos added, or whatever photos have been added in the past few months and puts them all in one album, to give you easy access to all your latest photos!
Guests will not see this album. Also, as this is a virtual album, it cannot be deleted, and no editing actions can be performed on this album. It doesn't influence either on the storage limits and amounts of your site.
I have purchased the "complete geneology reporter". When I make up the report it doesn't show any of the documents i put in. Like, birth certificates, citizenship papers, etc. How do i include them in the full report?
When I first signed up (basic) and the smart matches came up, I sent a few emails to people listed that have connections on my tree. They show up in my sent box but I tried sending one to myself as a test and didn't get it in addition to not getting responses. I don't see in basic plan that you can't use the email links. How do I know if these went out or not?
Unfortunately, there is not much that we can do regarding a member that is unresponsive. What I can suggest to you is to go to that persons profile and add a comment to their profile. They will then get an e-mail, and perhaps they will be more likely to get in touch with you.

When I checked my site account, I see it as Basic one. My data have been moved from VDE to MH. As it was told earlier by your support, we all (former VDE users) are promized to get a Premium account for free till end of this year - is this information still valid?
When I tried to register on verwandt.de, I had to register on myheritage instead.

Kannst Du Dich denn gar nicht mehr bei verwandt anmelden? Wenn ich mich bei verwandt.de einlogge, habe ich die Möglichkeit beide Stammbäume zu sehen. Den bei verwandt kannst Du Dir allerdings nur ansehen, nicht bearbeiten, weil er schreibgeschützt ist.
