Looking for my father ARCANGEL BARRIENTOS. LIVE IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA. MY FATHER IS GONE. IS BETWEEN 70 AND 80 YEARS OF DATA EDAD.CUALQUIER REPORT FOR THIS PAGE.
THANKS.
OSCAR BARRIENTOS.
Im using myheritage in combination with phpgedview but the gedcom configurations is incorrect, can i edit it manually, and how do i do? I have persons in my tree that doesnt have any letter precedingthe number, like I1 or whatever, what can i do?
One of my ancestors has "given" one of their children to a brother who did not have any children. The child was raised by them. I would like to document this in the family tree, but I am not sure if I can without entering the child twice.
How do you edit a person's name and how do you add more family members in the free edition family Tree Maker?
Hi Chris,
To answer your questions, you can edit information fairly easily in the Family Tree Builder. You have to click 'edit' on the card representing a person's details itself, click the top option on the fly-out menu ('Edit Details: user x'), and then change the name and whatever other details you'd like to change.
A very detailed description of how to add members, with photos, can be found here: http://www.myheritage.com/help/2008/11/how-do-i-add-family-members-to-the-tree-in-family-tree-builder/en/
Hopefully this answers some of your questions. If you have any more, though,
do feel free to ask.
I've prepared the family tree of my wife's family. When I closed the tree, I agreed to publish the family tree. But where can I find the family tree of my wife's family named Kreijmborg.?
You can remove the trees you don't need in the Family Site, in the Manage Trees page. click on the Delete link next to the relevant tree.
You can not change the name of a published tree. You can use the File > Save Project As menu in Family Tree Builder to change the name of your project, and then publish it again with the new name. Keep in mind that the Family Site will not understand that this is the same tree, and you will have to remove the old tree from the site.
