In my MH online tree, somehow the relationship btw my Mom and her parents was deleted, certainly a bug in the software. In the online tree, you cannot select an existing person to be a parent. Therefore, I cannot fix this.
I have a Mac, and so cannot use the FTB software. Please do not point me to the links that instruct someone to use FTB.
Is there any way to fix this? I cannot delete everyone below my Mom, since that includes me, the site manager. Besides the fact that there are hundreds of people below her (my husband's branch).
Thank you for reporting this problem. There was indeed a problem in the code which caused your tree branch to get disconnected. I've fixed the problem for you. Let me know if you still run into a probelm with your family tree
You promise there's a 1 time payment for premium for life.
42EUR it says.
Good offer for a nice program as this. But, unfortunatly this doesn't exist. When I go online to register, it says I pay 42EUR for the first year, after that anually 60EUR.
Also, but I mentioned this before. To register I'm forced to create a site. Really, I love your software and willing to pay 42EUR for it. But not for 1 year, and not forcing me to create a site(not even private) since I simply don't want my info on servers I can't verify what they're doing with my data.
Please allow customers to pay this "1 time 42eur for lifetime using the software as your promise" AND remove the obligated process of site creation, if the user wants to publish online, fine, (private or not) but if the user doesn't want to store anything on a server, you still should consider offering the premium options in the software
Oh, I made 2 screenshots of this proces of registering, and want to upload. 2 GIF files, but your server doesn't accept gif. If you want to see the screenshots, either tell me which format you support (gif is actually very standard for online posting) or allow gif files to be uploaded, thanx
Be aware, the "lifetime" is relative term - it means, lifetime on current computer.
By my experience, you cannot simply reinstall your PC or move FTB Premium to another PC, after your subscription ends.
FTB probably has activating mechanism depended on web site status. While first installing on computer, FTB is in Basic-free mode. If you login (through FTB dialog) to Family site which have Premium level, FTB unlocks to Premium too. So you can activate FTB Premium on all your home computers. At this level remains all FTBs even if subscription expires, and web site revert again to Basic.
But, if you have premium level expired, and Family site is back to Basic level, FTB installed on new computer remains in Basic mode. (Maybe, in this case helps MyHeritage Support?)
After all, I have one trick for advanced users:
If is FTB Premium already activated on functional computer, Family site expired back to Basic, and you only need reinstall whole computer without change of HW:
solution is, export appropriate registry key with unique activating code depended on hw, and after reinstall OS, import again into, before reinstalling FTB.
Only for sureness: you wrote about "Premium upgrade for Family Tree Builder and the bonus family site ". This looks, as if exists two different subscriptions for 1) Family site FTB as bonus, and 2) FTB Family site as bonus. I hope, that is not true...:-)
If i install (basic) FTB, and click (inside FTB) to button upgrade to Premium, i am redirected to the same online payment page, as if i click on upgrade link on website...? Where is difference between processes FTB website and website FTB?
Can you give any link to web, where are this two different and idependent method described?
I have found only following: "There are added features in Family Tree Builder that are only available for Premium users. Premium users are users that have upgraded a family site."
This is the second case with buy website get FTB. But about first case - buy FTB get website I have found nothing. I am sorry, not want to be annoying, but wanna have clear about it.
