You can add a link to an article that you are posting to a family site. To do that, edit the article, mark the text that will be the text for the link and click an icon looking like two linked chains in the editor. This will ask you for the URL. Once you save the article, anyone clicking the text you marked, will be taken to the URL you entered.

Are you a premium plus member? If so, try leaving a message on the live help line under Settings (sometimes they are on-line) or try contacting one of the support folks directly.
The website I need to see for my family history is marked private. How do I contact the owner to get permission to visit their site? There should be an email address and an option to contact the owner, but there is not.
If the site that you are visiting, and wish to become a member of, is a closed site, then you can request membership to it by going to the bottom of the login page for the Family Site and selecting “Contact Webmaster” link. Fill out a message with the reason you would like to be a member and submit.
I forgot my password, and had it readvised. However I am now only a guest on my family site and cannot figure out how to correct this!!

Thanks for coming back to me. I was able to get into my site for a few days, and I created a bookmark on my computer, but today I'm not recognised again - I keep coming up as a "guest" on my site again! I have been able to amend my password on my profile but it hasn't changed anything!
My computer is an iMac - is it anything to do with that? It just seems odd that some days ago the bookmark worked fine, and then today it doesn't, and even when I logged out and logged back in again I'm still coming up as a guest on both sites I had been listed on (Gallagherruane as site Maager, and Fionan O'Healai's site as a member).
It only happened after I upgraded to the premium level - could that be it?

We're still working on resolving this. I've had a look at your account and I've managed to find that there are two separate family websites registered on it. The first, 'Gallagher/Ruane family tree' , is listing you as a member. The second, 'Ruane (Gallagher) Web Site', is listing you as site manager.
Interestingly, on the 'Gallagher/Ruane family tree' you are still listed as site manager but under a different email address. The email address in question is theruaneclan [at] gmail [dot] com as opposed to simply 'ruaneclan'. Does this mean anything to you? Have you tried logging in using both email addresses? Only one appears to be affiliated as site manager of the page in question.
Let me know if this helps at all. I'm sure we'll be able to get to the bottom of this sooner or later.

Yesterday after failing to get into the family tree I sent the "site Manager" a membership request. When the request came into my email account, I was able to gain access to my tree when I clicked on the link to respond to the membership request, so I think the problem may have resolved itself . Yes, that makes sense. You seem to have had two very similar emails 'theruaneclan' and 'ruaneclan' @gmail.com, both associated with a different website. If you're confident you've got full access to the main web page, it may be possible to delete the redundant one.
I am a Premium member and new and I want to add a new baby to a family online and was not able to do that, there is no link on the mother or father to any a child.
I added the baby on the Family Builder but when I tried to upload the new information the program wanted to upload eveyone not just the new baby and I only have 14 people before I reach my quota.

I've just had a look at this. If I follow you correctly, your problem is that you were unable to add a new baby in the online family tree, although you were able to add the baby in the Family Tree Builder. I assume also that you tried to import the file using GEDCOM, but that added the entire tree, not just the new member. Is that correct?
When I try using the online family tree, I am able to add a new baby simply by clicking the large plus sign on the parent of the child, then selecting either 'son' or 'daughter'. Is this what you have been trying?
The only other reason for the problem I can think of is that perhaps you have already hit your quota. Are you able to add any other new family members, or is it just the new child you're having trouble adding?
