I'm fed-up and frustrated with with your company's actions regarding taking over VDE and the information policity here in the forum.
No prior information on actions regarding the data bases are available from you.
For several days my tree was not accessable. When I asked for information - NO RESPONSE from any of you. When I complained at the forum VDE, I received the message, that my data will be available within some days again.
Prior to the data loss I worked on my tree and added app. 150 profiles - WHERE are they? I changed several profiles -WHERE are the changes gone? Actually I see only 392 out of my 502 profiles.
When my tree on MH still was comlete with all modifications and addings, I tried several time to export a GEDCOM file for back-up purposes - I never got the file. When I complained in the forum, I even didn't get an answer for YOUR problem.
I just have to say that I fully agrees with you about how the Support acts and how little information is given about issues on the site.
Hopefully yours (and others) problem will be solved now that you can send them directly to Noam.
But, there is an interest in knowing how the cases are progressing, even when conversation of the cases are moved from this public forum to a more private one.
If you like, you are welcome to share information about status, progress, anything that would be useful as public knowledge.
Does anybody else know a good web site were you can make a familytree? I am getting sick of doing nothing on the tree because it will all just dissapear again in a few hours.
Your lucky to get it to last a few hours!!! I have not had my tree for 6 days now, and nobody at My Heritage seems to be doing anything about it. The only e mail I have got from them is 'Did I upload it correctly' as I didn't tranfer my tree from Dynastree, they did, and the tree was on My Heritage for a couple of days till they lost, it I'm presuming it uploaded OK
If you do find a better family tree website please let us know, they might be better than this lot!!

There may be a problem with this line of thinking, but I will have to check up on it to be certain, I do not believe we have transferred anything from DynasTree. The only files I know that were migrated were from our aquisition of GenCircles 2 years ago.
Could it had been from this site?

If your staff don't know about the merger how are they meant to sort out the problems
Twice I tried to send an email to all registered members of my family site and nobody seems to have received it; I eventually sent emails from outside MyHeritage.com, because I really needed to contact everybody.
I did not find any mail in the junk mail folder - no "junk" mails arrived during the last 3 days (at least, nothing was shown). According to the settings with my e-mail provider, junk mails are to be stored at least for 10 days.
Unfortunately, I haven`t found any possibility for entering your address to a safe senders list.
So, the best solution might be to use a different e-mail address. Would it be advisable to send you an e-mail (support@myheritage.com, I suppose) using this alternative e-mail account? What about changing e-mail addresses in the profile? I read that the verwandt-team advised not to do so, as this would lead to different addresses in the two programs.
as I'm trying to enter birth and death years I'm getting a little confused. When I'm trying to enter years before the year 1000 it automatically appears a "0" as the 4th position. But the person was born in "920" - not 9200 - and died in "973" - not "9730".
It works fine when I have a day and a month, but when I only have a year, it doesn't work.
What do I have to do to make the years appear right.
