When I first signed up (basic) and the smart matches came up, I sent a few emails to people listed that have connections on my tree. They show up in my sent box but I tried sending one to myself as a test and didn't get it in addition to not getting responses. I don't see in basic plan that you can't use the email links. How do I know if these went out or not?
Unfortunately, there is not much that we can do regarding a member that is unresponsive. What I can suggest to you is to go to that persons profile and add a comment to their profile. They will then get an e-mail, and perhaps they will be more likely to get in touch with you.
Oh I understand not everyone will respond. I was just asking if the emails do go through on the basic plan because when I didn't get any responses, I sent a test email to myself and didn't get it.
I went to inbox and sent a test to myself at myheritage and I also sent one to my outside email. I didn't get either. They show in my sent box and they say they were sent but I didn't receive either test.
When I checked my site account, I see it as Basic one. My data have been moved from VDE to MH. As it was told earlier by your support, we all (former VDE users) are promized to get a Premium account for free till end of this year - is this information still valid?
When I tried to register on verwandt.de, I had to register on myheritage instead.
After doing this, there's no chance of logging in verwandt.de what I wanted to do in the first place.
Why? Am I doing something wrong? I'm well aware that verwand.de was bought off by myheritage, but is this practice of cheating the customer into a website he never wanted to be member of the right way?

So, gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, mich bei verwandt.de anzumelden? Deren Anmeldung führt nämlich hierher und lässt mich auch danach nicht auf verwandt.de einloggen. Das grenzt meines Erachtens an Betrug.
You an not do anything anymore on your old familytree site. You now have to build it on here. If all is ok your tree has moved to this site with all info and pictures you had on the other site.
Kannst Du Dich denn gar nicht mehr bei verwandt anmelden? Wenn ich mich bei verwandt.de einlogge, habe ich die Möglichkeit beide Stammbäume zu sehen. Den bei verwandt kannst Du Dir allerdings nur ansehen, nicht bearbeiten, weil er schreibgeschützt ist.
ich bin bisher dort ja nicht angemeldet - und das geht mit dem login von hier leider auch nicht (obwohl verwandt. de das gegenteil suggeriert!). oder gibt's einen trick?
ich will ja eigentlich dort nur jemand anderes stammbaum einsehen, denn ich glaube, die sind mit meiner familie verwandt. wenn mir da jemand weiterhelfen könnte, etwa indem er die infos für mich nachsieht, wäre ich ewig dankbar.
To move all of your photos from one site to another, you'll have to download them to your computer (going to an album and clicking on More Actions > Download all items)
and then upload them to the other site.
We are working on making this easier, but for now it's the only way.
Set up another location in May Heritage and want to transfer images from the Gallery in the first site to second site, how I hope that urgent assistance
I too am suffering from this problem, all my tree and photos have disappeared from the site. Still waiting for a reply from the technical people as to why my home page is showing but my tree has gone!!!!!
I have they same problems for days now. I have told somebody about it and they are looking into the problem. For now all I can say is if you find anythng write it down on paper.
