How do I delete unnesesary albums (which no have photos) from my family webpage like that: http://www.myheritage.lt/site-photo-albums-73592111/ulkstinu-seimos-svetaine#
In order to delete a photo album, visit your family site and go to Photos & Videos > Albums.
Click on the album that you wish to delete in the left hand pane.
Then click on "More Actions", and one of the options will be to delete the album.
Note: 'Recent Photos' is an album we added automatically to the photos section. It shows up to 100 of the most recently added photos in any of your other albums.
This gives you and your site members quick access to the latest photos! Guests will not see this album. Also, as this is a virtual album, it cannot be deleted, and no editing actions can be performed on this album. Don't worry, photos appearing in 'Recent Photos' are not duplicates and do not consume any extra storage.
I have the same problem. If an album is empty, I don't have the "More Actions" button (actually I don't have any buttons), so I can't delete the album.
Thanks,
Zveki
Try going to Photos and Videos > Find, and from there you should see the option to delete that album (as long as it is not the recent photos or family photos album, both of which are not delete-able.
I see that under your account, you have a few family sites, each with a few family trees as well.
Please log into your account, and click on the MySites button on the top right of the screen. There you will see an overview of all of your family sites, and the trees that are on each site.
To delete any trees, please see the following post in our FAQ:
How many site managers can you have for each site? I see in the site members you can promote people to site managers , but can I have me and a couple of other people be site managers?
There's an option at the bottom of the Article Edit Screen which says 'Display on Home Page', if you unclheck that, I presume your Article will disappear from your Home Page but remain on the Activities.
Hi - I've added a second wife and the information is there and shows up in a name search. The problem is it's not linked on the branch. I can see the "attatch" option when I try and edit. But when I select the second wife and hit attach it says shes already there... does that make sense? Help
Since family branches were entered by different relatives of my family, my great- grandmother and her sister are shown as half sisters. I could not find a way to add alredy listed parent to the person.
To delete and re-enter my great-grandmother's sister's brunch means to re-enter data of 26 people. Please make option to select a parent, same as you can select a wife.
I have a similar problem. I have two people listed as maried (and there are number of children and grandchildren entered already) but it turned out that actually the father should be a different person of the same name. So If I could enter the correct marriage details and move the children to the new father, half of my problem would be solved. The other part would be to delete the "wrong" marriage - without deleting the wrong husband because his sister (and what follows him) flows into a different part of my tree. A bit complicated but please let me know if there is a way of fixing this ....
I have 'stupidly' started 3 trees. Each of these trees contain information that all belongs together. The first tree I started was my husbands family. The second, is my family. The third is also my family.
Can I make all of them into ONE tree without having to re-type everything? and if so, what is the best way to name the tree for all involved?
