You need to edit your account information. You find this under Home -> Site Members -> your profile -> Edit account. There is a question: "Send Emails in:" with a box, where you can select the language that you wish MyHeritage to talk to you. This setting is individual for each member. This parameter must have been set to Polish in your case.
I have been having an issue with hesitations and like a stuttering movement on this site when scrolling thru pictures and trying to rearrange them...it's like the page starts jumping so I can't target any one photo...Help! thanks :)
I have a IMAC-27 running w/ OSX 10.6. When I talked to my son this morning. He showed how to download Adobe and add Firefox as my browser.... Wow what a difference on your site. No more jumping, stuttering or anything! Thank you so much for your help!
My anniversary date was incorrect and the calendar has the worng data as the recurring event. I fixed the date, but the calendar still has the event entry on the wrong date. I deleted t he incorrect entry onthe calendar. How can i now get a new event series that recurs annually corrected for the right date.
Thank you for writing to us.
Please reset the events that are being imported to your calendar from your tree.
To do so, please go to Settings > Calendar and uncheck the option to import events to the calendar from the family tree.
Save your settings.
Then recheck the option, and save your settings again.
Are invited guests able to change information on the website. I noticed that a birthday was changed on the site but I don't have a birthday recorded on the family tree builder program in my computer. could this person have put their own birthday in on the website without my permission?
When a person recieves an email with upcoming events does it always not show how old you are if your birthday is in that month? I mean, does it always say, "today is your birthday, congratulations", because it was sent to you and you know how old you are anyways?! I have to explain it to someone how it is done and why their actual age didn't show up in the email showing upcoming birthdays and everyone else's age was in there.
Someone in my family is only recieving a partial newsletter. They only get birthday announcements or anniversary announcements as it pertains to their immediate family. So it only shows themselves and their children and grandchildren. They already know those dates! They used to get the full newsletter but it changed around August. How can this be fixed so they can get the full newsletter again, showing all of the upcoming birthdays and anniversaries of extended family members?
Please ask this member to log into their MyHeritage.com account, and to go to visit the site in question. Then they should click on Settings > Preferences, and choose to receive email event notifications for all family members, and not just their close family.
My folks are finding it too much to take in from the front page layout, and are thus resisting penetrating the site. I've turned a few 'Activities' off from the site, but where can I turn stuff off from the front page? Ideally, I'd just leave the 'Welcome' bit and the 'Random photos'.
