In order to add a step son to your family tree, first add the parent as a second spouse. Set the relationship between these two people as divorced. Then add the child.

Why is it impossible to list 2 persons as friends? That is, "not married at all", therefore not divorced, but still they have a baby together....... Even tough you choose in the box that 2 people are "friends" or "partners": theyre still listed as married in the bookreport, and in the familytree! Please fix this soon......! Not everyone is married, that have a child....... and also,, why can`t a child have only one parent?? if the other parent is unknown..........?
when you entered your data into my heritage, you gave it a file name and saved it right?
You can look how large that file is: Right click Start; left cl explore; left cl Family tree; right cl your file name; in dropdown menu select properties.
I created everything online. I never saved it to my computer. (Is that necessary?). So I cannot see the size on my computer, but I can see it online under settings / Site Account.
It tells me I only have 7.2MB available from the 250MB.
With only about 9 pictures posted and 150 names in my tree, I believe this number is wrong and blocking me from adding more pictures.
I downloaded the "My Heritage" aplication for free from My Heritage. After insallation on your computer you can do all the editing to it without publishing it on line.
It is not necessary but editing before publishing seems logical. I have done a lot of work to it before deciding to publish on line. The off-line application is much nicer, and I was not limited spacewise.
I joined My Heritage when the limit of persons list was five hundred. Now it is two hundred and fifty. They seem to change their policy all the time.
For instance. When I open the applcation they advertise an upgrade for a onetime fee. But when you continue it shows a monthly fee.
I appreciate t he response, but I would rather keep everything online.
And then I am running into my issue that they calcullate the size wrong and therefore I have no more space left. 9 pictures and 151 persons in the tree hardly could count for 250MB.
Any one from Myheritage.com Team has any thoughts on this?
It is very difficult to see and read those foreigncountries languages as Russian?Would be nice if it is in english!

I also have the same problem. I have duplicate albums that need to be deleted. I'm not sure how they all got there, but when I try to delete them the pull down menu will not allow me to delete them, even though, the word 'delete' is on the menu but not highlighted.
I seem to have a similar problem with non functioning album that is using up all my storage capacity.
I can't really help you but if more people have the same issue, maybe someone at my heritage will have a look. I have sent an email to this regard without response from them.
To see prevous charts that you have created on your family site , please go to Family Tree > Chars and Reports and there you will see any old charts that you have created online.
Hej på er ute i MyHeritage-världen. Jag vill ha ett tips på en registreringsfråga. Min svåger är sambo med en kvinna. Även om jag registrerar henne som "Partner" så registreras hon som hustru till min svåger. Hur skall registreringen göras för att det skall bli korrekt. i dagens läge är det många som är sambo och ej gifta.
To designate a partnership when adding new people to the tree:
1. Add the one of the partners.
2. Add the second partner.
3. Choose ‘Partners’ in the ‘Status’ field.
4. Click Add.
För att beteckna ett partnerskap när du lägger till nya personer i trädet:1. Lägg till en av parterna.
2. Lägg den andra partnern.
3. Välj "partners" i "Status" fältet.
4. Klicka på Lägg till.
