Genealogy:Eleanor Marillat
Posted by: edward james (chichi) marillat on Apr 4 2009 12:06

http://www.unctad.org/infocomm/anglais/timbertrop/companies.htm When Frank Marillat spoke to his children of his own upbringing, he talked of his sister who went to Russia with a circus, and of a sister who was a dancer, and then another who had trained chickens to perform in a circus. Date line 1926

Location port Said

Who will ever know what skulduggery or dangerous deeds the lonely figure standing at the quay side waiting for the S S HENZADA had performed in the name of King and Country

Now that Borgarde has gone who could play the part of Frank, should any director have the courage to tell the story

Family stories:International sprout eating competition
Posted by: edward james (chichi) marillat on Dec 26 2008 15:32

For those of you who have been on the moon for the last five years. The Marillats of machen have held a sprout eating competition after their Christmas lunch for the last five years, this is an international event drawing competitors from England, wales and many other countries in Africa and the fars east. A cup is awarded and enscribed with name and sprouts eaten, the currant winner at 90SP / 2008 is David Rogers followed by Vivian Davies( a new contestant and our only marathon runner) with a credable 65, followed by a former winner Ian marillat with a disappointing 56. Unsportingly Ian contested the result by claiming that David had used mint sauce, the whole thing got ugly but was sorted out by the rules committee.YOUR ON THE SPOT REPORTER.
