For most of my life...I felt completely alone in this world....
My parents were not the greatest people on the earth. They had some serious problems that neither could seem to overcome. By the time I was 11, my sister and I had been removed from our father because of his abuse, our mother had already disappeared, also due to his abuse. Connie and I lived with my sister Velerie for a time, but soon ended up in foster care. I had little or no contact with my family after that. I have often wondered what my family was like.
On a recent visit with my sister, Connie...she handed me a piece of paper that contained a smattering of my grandmother, Irene's, lineage. I had no idea that I would take the dozen or so names listed there and become completely entranced with the history of it. I am completely amazed by the amount of information I have gathered already and dying to know what else there is to find.
