A great big hello to you ...... my name is Jean. The main purpose was to focus on the holes in my ancestry and dispell the myths of how we all became to be. Everyone seemed to have different stories about where, when, why and how such things came about. I really thought it was high time someone (anyone) took a stab at putting the pieces together in black and white for all of us to see and then set about finding the missing ones. There were stories ancestors told out loud from time to time that just astounded those of us listening which had us sitting there thinking "who in the world would believe that?". A project like this is an extremely huge undertaking and I just never had the time to fully devote to it -- until now. I trully hope I can gather all the necessary information needed to clarify the history and make it a story to revel in, and also do it justice. This site allows anyone to setup a private site for their family, build a family tree, share family photos, and then correspond with those wanting to get the information. In the end a number of internet sites (pay and free sites), personal bibles, paper trails, or established word of mouth from the elders were used and then cross-referenced to prove the information of people recorded in here were actually blood related to me --- not just "close enough". That was a chore!!!! I'm going to open up the tree to all those wishing to enter and allow adding their name if related by blood, adoption, or marriage inside this particular tree. Lets each take part in this process and build the family tree to a remarkable memorable moment for all of those coming after us. It would be wonderful if even ALL the distant relatives found this site, came in, looked around, and added any and all information they knew. Since you're here now and reading this, if you know something about anyone on the existing tree and wish to add (or about anyone inadvertly left off the tree) ........ please, by all means do so with my extreme appreciation and accept my apologies for not knowing any better when I missed the mark! ..... inform, inform, inform all your relatives about this tree and invite them to participate.
