I had the most wonderful day on Monday June 7,2010. My Uncle ,Clyde Dixon went to Lafayette. We started out from home at 8am. We spent a lot of time in the Archives then we went to the Historical Society, everything was all in the same building. We were there from approximately 4hrs. Then we had lunch at a quaint little cafe. Then we proceeded to look for the Old Beech Bottom-Barnfield-Shrum Cemetery. The cemetery is located off of Hwy 10S. out of Lafayette go 4-5 miles and turn left on the 2nd road past Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church. |Whoo I didn't know so much could happen in one month!!!! My son, Landis, had his 25th birthday, Mothers Day, a pre-school graduation for Caroline who is 4y/o, a graduation from Jo Byrns High for my granddaughter Linsey then a graduation party for her on Sunday, which by the way was a blast a great big old fashioned cook-out, a graduation from the eighth grade for my grandson Michael, and a graduation from Springfield High School for my granddaughter Rachel. That is 3 grandchildren down and 9 more to go If I figured it right which is questionable they want all be graduated until approximately 2030 I will ONLY be 78y/o. I have been blessed in more ways than one. |
