I started this family tree for my son, Christopher Tadd Dubois, because even though i know right now he has no intrest in his family tree, so day I want him to know who he is by knowing where he came from. I have to thank my grandparents, Codie and (Lorena) Mae (Moore) Wimberly for my inheritated love for family history. I just wish I had been smart enough to find that joy while they were still alive to share their knowledge. Thankfully they were insitful enough to preserve and pass on in records and charts their memories for future generations to enjoy. I also have family members that have helped me with missing pieces and great stories that some i remember and some i will never forget. Thank you to Dan Benton Wimberly (cousin Dan) as i grew up knowing him for the stories he has past to me via e-mail. I have to quote him from one of the e-mails that he sent he, because I feel the same way. Dan stated "Family history holds some fasinating insights, often connecting national and local history with one's own background. One of the reasons I became interested, if not passionate, about history was hearing stories from the past from my grandparents". Thank you Dan, I couldn't have put my feelings in better words. I hope to connect with other family members with this site, as well as find out more information about my son's family, who there aren't many around anymore to get first hand info from. As well as find out information about my husband's family, who I am hitting brick walls with right now. I would love contact from anyone that I might be able to help, as well as anyone that might be able to help me.
