The site is created using Family Tree Builder program which publishes the tree and media files to the MyHeritage web site, This is a good system that allows anyone to create a private site for your family, build your family tree and allow others to add, correct and share family photos. Navigation Notes:
1. I suggest you use the Modern View (Tab at bottom right of the tree screen) – the name search function is better than the Classic view. 2. Move Left/right or Up/Down by pointing to a blank area, hold down the left mouse button and drag the names around.Try it! 3. Very Important – Use the Sliders on the right hand side of the screen – you can see them by ‘hovering’ your mouse on that side
The Vertical arrow is a zoom control and increases the number of generations displayed and displays more or less information The horizontal slider (Upper right) also changes number of generations and reduces excessive horizontal scrolling. 4. Use the Blue and pink box icons to view that persons branch of the tree.
5. There is quite a lot of Help available – but it’s well hidden on the end of the bottom row of Text
