Some of you may already know about the manuscript entitled The Conspiracy Clan, which I wrote several years ago. Without going into all the details of explaining the lengthy process of trying to get a book published, let me start by saying that parts of this manuscript can now be previewed online @ Google Books by clicking the link below. Should you wish to read this online, and find it readable or perhaps even absorbing, I'd be grateful if you would forward this information to your friends.
I have spent most of my career closely associated with the book trade and have now realised how very difficult it is for first-time authors to have their work published. This manuscript is by no means perfect and needs the experience of an editor to knock it into the shape that publishers demand, albeit that the costs are somewhat daunting. I have followed the traditional route of working with agents both locally and abroad without success and realise that there are only two options left to consider. Attempt to self-publish on demand or go online. The latter is what I decided upon in the hope of gaining exposure and perhaps even the prospect of a sequel.
You may find the Google Books presentation somewhat fragmented, and for this I apologise, as it's something over which I have no control. It will give you an opportunity to decide on the merits of the content. Even though names and places may seem all too familiar, I assure you that the entire content is fictitious.
Regards
André Heyns
