Hi Barbara, I have Mom here at home with me this weekend. Kathy and her husband went to N.C. to meet with his sister and husband. His sister's husband has cancer and they wanted to get together to spend some time together. I took Mom to the mountain (near Jump Off) to see Juanita Martin Barry. Juanita is into family research also. She is related to the Lappins. Her mother was Bertha Lappin Martin (daughter of Jesse Lappin) and her father was Samuel Cecil Martin.
I'm still a little sore from falling while in the Boston area. I slipped and fell in the shower at the hotel we were staying in. I had to go to the emergency room and have some x-rays made---nothing broken but ribs bruised and doctor said I would be sore for a few weeks.
I will try to send you the photo of Jewell Glen Yokley in an e-mail today. I have been finding more interesting info and photos for the Tree.
Scotty Williams sent me an e-mail (Thursday) and wanted me to send him contact info that he can give to his mother. Scotty said he had seen my request for Lappin info and that his mother was related to them. He said that Harmon (Red) Yokley was her dad. I sent the contact info and told him that I had been sharing info with you. I have not heard anything back from them yet. It was good hearing from you again and hope to hear from you soon. Wayne
Hi Barbara, I can make a copy of the photo of Jewell Glen Yokley. I do have it on Ancestry.com tree. I am out of town now. We are in the Boston Mass. area and will be back home either Sat. August 11th or Sun August 12th. I will write to you when I get back home.
