Dear, dear Robyn, I hear about your activities from your Dad---I hope you are enjoying New Orleans and teaching. We missed you at the family reunion last Aug but i know your work had started. Carl and i are still getting out of bed every morning, so we are happy to be functioning !!! I was going to write you after the reunion but you know how good intentions can be. Erin was there, had changed her hair color so at first it was harder to recognize but it looked great, was black. She was very attractive/still pretty. I hope your Dad is able to play the violin more, he seems to be improving, though slowly it seems to him, I'm sure. If you visit our Dad anytime, do let me know as we would come up to see you. My sister, Dororthy , is coming out here to stay a few weeks when the snow and winter get too much for her. They went to FL when Howard was alive, since then she comes out here. We will see your Dad and Kate when she is here. Love, aunt mickie Oh, AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!
Birthday greetings from Libertyville. You're only one year away from the big six-oh! How can it be that all that time has passed since we played and picked up acorns together in Weberville?!?
Thanks for your msg. I went to water exercises, then prepared for Tommy and Alison and Jessie's visit this week-end. We are going to TRY to make drapery for their house !! I celebrate all week---lunch with Ted on Friday, pedicure !!! dinner out tonight. This 88 yr old is enjoying!!! love, mickie
Thank you all for the birthday wishes! I had a great birthday weekend. Friday night we met our friends, the Spicers, at Melito's for dinner. Saturday we went to the UVA-William and Mary football game which UVA won 40-3. Sunday, Russ surprised me with brunch at Shackelford's (another local restaurant) by inviting some of our friends to join us. Lindsey and Zak were with us for the weekend too. And finally, Sunday night Russ, Lindsey, Zak. and I went to Lemaire at The Jefferson Hotel for dinner. Monday night Russ and I went to see "The Help" which we really enjoyed. It was a great weekend!
Congrats on reaching another milestone. We hope you are not too soaked from hurricane Irene to celebrate your birthday. Best wishes for another great decade!
Mitch and Anna
