Our surname was changed at the birth of our paternal father in 1873. We do not know the circumstances. In 2009, in an attempt to locate our "Lewis" family line, I submitted DNA for testing.

Through DNA testing, we are paternal direct descendants of the Thomas Wilder that immigrated to the Massachusetts Bay Colony about 1638. The ancestry trail is being researched.

Our family tree is posted online on this site! There are 15913 names in our family site. The earliest event is the birth of Prince Finnlogha of Ireland (29 BC). The most recent event is the birth of <Private> Page (Jan 23 2013).
