I have started and stopped the research that led to this family tree many times over a number of years.  I am greatful to my cousins wife, Jeri  and another cousins wife, Darlene for their large contributions to this research.  I also wish to thank another distant cousin, Jeff, for steering me in the right direction.  The surnames that are my primary research are Trefney (Trefny), Purdy, Kirby, Harmon and the original family (Foster) of my Great Grandfather James W.
