M Y S T E R I E S  Do you have any family information? Do you have any documents that may have been passed down? We're looking for anything that has information about the parents-ancestors of our grandmother Cynthia Sellers/Sellars. She seems to have come out of thin air when she is found in the 1850 Census of Chesterfield County, SC, living with a Rosan or Rosanna (and Loyd D. Jordan) near Jefferson SC. She married Benjamin Bennett Graves in 1852. Lastly, she was living with the Edward Jackson Graves family when she died in 1915. Do you have any family information? Do you have any documents that may have been passed down? We're looking for anything that has information about the history of Benjamin Bennett Graves. He and Cynthia are found in the 1860 Census living in Montgomery County, NC. But in the 1870 Census of Chesterfield County SC, Syntha Graves is alone with the kids. Do you know what happened to him? We cannot find him in muster rolls for Confederate units, and no cemetery lists. Did he enroll under a different name? He just disappeared.
