My mother, Mary Frances Babb, met my father, Roy Lamar McAfee, when they were both students at Berry College in Rome, GA. They married on May 8, 1937, and raised a family of 4 sons and 1 daughter.
To this day, more than 12 years after my Mama passed on to heaven, she and my Papa are still the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever known.
