Articles of agreement made and include in to between William Blythe
assign for Mary Tucker Deceased of the first part and Christopher C Hurst of the second part witnessed that said Blythe ...... to the said Hurst Mary Tucker entire stock of cattle hogs and sheep. He the said .. To have half the c.. For the trouble and ... of said stock the contract commerce the first of Sept 1852.
Said Stock is to be numbered as some as convenient and each family to have a list of the stock , the said Hurst is bound to turn over the stock to the said Blythe at the exposition of the five years he said Blythe and Hurst is to divide the of the expense of said stock at any time after they come to be three years old. Also the said Hurst is to have possession of Mary Tucker's .... and lots for the term of said five years and he the said Hurst kinds himself to keep twenty acres of land under agreed fence and be the .. Hurst it to have one dollar and half a hundred for making hauling and pating? up an the said Blythe is to provided the said Hurst.

I thought my John Blythe was there in Delaware Dist in 1851 also. Because of the 1851 roll listing John Blythe and his family.Group #943, Delaware Dist...... But sometime between 1851 and 1859 they moved to Kansas. (per letter to Cherokee Agency listed as an early settler)

The first winter spent on the banks of beautiful Spring River,east of Baxter Springs, but early in 1858 he purchased of a Cherokee Indian named JOHN BLYTHE, the present farm of our subject -- A quarter section in section 35 township 34 , range 25 in Garden Township. About twenty acres of the land was under cultivation and a log house and stable had been built.
I diagree that Johnathan was Williams father..I believe that Williams parents were John Blythe {Jonathan's brother} and Mary Chastine,,,the only proff I have for this is the fact of William's son;s name.. JAMES CHASTINE BLYTHE..
