This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and I to create a site for their family and even publish their family tree on the Internet.

Our family tree is posted online on this site! There are 250 names in our family site. The earliest event is the birth of Lorenc Gargus (Before 1620). The most recent event is the death of Darrell Lynn "Bill" Werdehoff (June 25 2009).

There are actually much more than 250 people in our tree, but the maximum number of people it will publish is 250 people in the Basic package. I am considering upgrading, but not sure yet as I have several other lines as well. If you do not see a name in here that you think would be, please contact me and I can help you with it.

I have one thing to add. If you start your own family tree, kudos to you. However, please remember that you should cite your sources. Meaning if you got your information from this site, you should enter in your notes or citation area that you found the information from me. Not only is it important to give the hard-working researcher due credit, it is also important because we all make mistakes and if you find a mistake in your tree, you would want to know where the original mistake came from. Also, you may have people ask you, "How do you know that so-and-so did such-and-such?" You can look up your citations and say because it says so in the 1910 census, or because Kelly has it in her tree and her tree says it was in the 1910 census. Just like in a research paper, it is important to cite your tree as well. Happy Hunting!
